On the same basis as red suggested, surely have a few bob on Jonas B. Almost 20s on BF. Won a tourny a few weeks ago from a little way back, so plenty of bottle.
He may already be in the Doobs army and already covered tho
The 20 has long gone, he is now generally a 16/1 shot. I can confirm he is not amongst the 139 we have backed so far.
http://www.oddschecker.com/golf/uspga-championship/winner
He is 3 shots behind Furyk at present.

We have plenty invested already, but think we ought to consider this, even if just a saver, 3 shots is nothing.
Views from others please?

Fred Fact.
Mark Porter is the 125th "unique" (different) blonde to have a Fred bet.
Pretty good that, I reckon.

Dufner is the obvious saver, but I don't think we really need savers. We are roughly 50/50 the win and have place money to fall back on way more often than not.
Think he might be a slight bit of value. He is 16/1 on Betfair and the 4/1 first 3 is close to 16/1 each of the 3 places, and it feels that he'll be a bit more likely to be 2nd or 3rd than 1st.

Phew. Glad you said that!
That all makes sense when logicalised.
I'm getting paranoid now about missing suggestions.

I was given one third, 1,2,3,4,5. Am I special?

Hi Mark.
Welcome to Fred. I've sen you on PHA (Hand Histories, never miss 'em me), the WSOP Fantasy thing, but never here before.
You get Newbie Rights & an Auto-Bet, so good luck with this. tHe price is good, too, he is generally a 5/1 shot.
PS - What are your views on Southampton this season? Many think they'll struggle, others are more bullish. Views?
Thanks, I have been here forever actually. I must be one of the very few who reads every page but never has a bet!
On Southampton, I think we should be strong this year. We have been quite sensible this Summer, Lovren and Wanayama both looking good and we needed to get stronger at the back after shipping a lot of goals last season. If we can keep Lambert, Rodriguez, and Lallana fit then I think we will score a lot of goals again. I would expect to finish around about 14th ish, would be happy with that. I saw the recommend on us to be relegated, I would expect the price to be bigger than 10/1 come late September but 10/1 still looked big.

One for Saturday.
Shergar Cup time, and noticed a couple of horses I am keen on backing had Gerard Mosse on. He is on the first two favs and three other horses that have decent chances.Basically 12 jockeys have 5 rides and accumulate point for their team. With mosse being on 2 Favs out of six races, he should be one of the Favs.
Strangely he is priced up as the 16-1 outsider for the jockeys title, which I think he has won before. With 365 he is a more sensible 6-1.
Recommend £20 at 16-1 with Ladbrokes
Oi, oi, oi.
Stuck a bit on this, cheers mate!

CORRECTION
As Mark P pointed out, I got those EW Terms for Rickie Lambert right round my neck.
It is ONE third odds, 1,2,3,4,5.

Good stuff. Yes, we are on them to go down, though it was not a universally well-received bet.
I actually hope they stay up, as it happens. Seems right, somehow.

Van Persie is 4/1 to score first with Hills today. It is a bit worse than Betfair (4.2/1), but Hills do a free bet on 2nd goalscorer. Hence you are really beating Betfair by about 10%. It is mobile or Internet.
We seem to be on a bad run with this sort of bet, but I don't think we should stop taking them. Max is £50, but think £25 is fine too.

Not a recommend, as the price is too short, but if you are having a good day at 5 o clock, you may wish to dabble a couple of pound.
Mont Blanc has its first run for new stable, Jayne Chapple Hyam, most interesting is the booking of Hughesie. It looks a pretty poor race, and I presume she must have eeked some improvement to have back the King of Windsor. To my untrained eye, his action looks like he will appreciate the better ground and extra distance based on his last few runs in Ireland.
Very speculative, but worth pointing out, I thought.

Swann just took another wicket.
This is most pleasing.
