Tennis recommendation to consider;
Sloane Stephens, wildy regarding as the next best thing in Womens tennis. Having a great year in Grand slams compared to past years. Reaching the Aussie QF in January, and was 17th Seed in Wimbledon, reaching another QF before losing to Bartoli (eventual winner).
Playing tomorrow (1/9) against Serena Williams. Serena beat her in the aussie QF, so some revenge/lesson learnt are on the cards.
Now I'm not saying Sloane will beat Williams, but I think a 2-1 loss is most likely, and a good bet at 6/1 best odds available with Hills.
http://www.oddschecker.com/tennis/us-open/womens/serena-williams-v-sloane-stephens/set-betting
Recommend £10 @ 6/1 Serena 2 sets to 1.
Edit - additional info.....US Open form.
1st Rnd 2-1 (4-6, 6-3, 6-1)
2nd Rnd, (6-1, 6-1)
3rd Rnd (6-1, 6-3)

Second guessing a team that losses one week 9-0 to Celtic, then somehow a few weeks later beats them 1-0, or loses to 9 men Rangers in a cup final, then comes out 3 days later and beats Celtic something like 4-0 is not a club I have found to get involved with on the betting front. The little i know of them, they are like the opposite of Man Utd, in that are most likely to concede in the last minute, rather than score a goal! Well done anyway!
Napoli are leading 0-1 HAMSIK 25 yard screamer, hope thread is on!

Many thanks to my mystery PM messager who informs me as follows
"Top Series Batsman/Bowler
Any quoted player, who takes no part in the specified series, will be void market may be subject to a Rule 4 (Deduction)). In the event of two or more players ending on an equal number of wickets, then the bowler with the least number of runs conceded will be the winner. Dead-heat rules
apply. "
So with Bet365 we are a loser. Because Ahmed conceded less runs than Faulkner, he wins
Two wickets in the last over did us out of £5.33 at 15-4 or a share of it
thank you mystery PMer, for nothing

Ha!
Robbed. Ish.
Never mind. We've had a quiet day, but not much damage done. Last day of the month today, too, settling day. Been a most enjoyable & satisfactory month. September will be tougher, we have a few inevitable losses to swallow.

The Welsh Open is going a little awry,, with Raphael Jacquelin hitting an 80. Keegan "two surnames" Bradley running a bit better in the US.
I once met a fella called Keegan, who had been enthusiastically named after Kevin by enthusiastic parents. To compound the cruelty they had sent him to a Kevin Keegan soccer school.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

Not so good in Wales, no, but don't forget we have Mickelson in the US, too, who led Day One. Scores are VERY low today though, there have been a 64 & two 65's already.
Keegan story. LOVE IT
