I know you shouldn't get overexcited straight after a race and it wasn't much of a race, but Radiator is 25/1 for the 1000 Guineas with Hills.  You can get 33/1 with Stan James and there is nothing on Betfair.

Worth a free bet?  Somebody back me up here.

I thought it was very impressive and the commentator seemed to wax lyrical about it.

Can think of worse things to place free bets on that's for sure, certainly at that price.

I posted on here before debut (race Neil gave the winner in at goodwood) that the stoute camp thought Radiator was very good

Personally i am always a bit dubious of form with "that rail" but it was without doubt impressive

Right go for the long sweat Tikay, Radiator 25/1 1000 Guineas 2014 with William Hill.  £25 free bet.  It is under future races.

Rep of Ireland Asian Handicap 0 (draw no bet), at evens against Sweden at home on Friday night.

Ireland have only lost twice in their last 26 qualifying games from the start of the 2010 world cup qualifiers under Trappatoni, with a squad that doesn't scream much of brilliance, but together as a force in qualifying they are a solid unit. And I think from the 2012 embarrassment in the finals we have actually improved our starting line up, namely now including Coleman and he has proved to be a great asset, with McClean and McCarthy of Everton, offering something too on the wing and down the middle.

I think where my confidence lies here in this bet is that I can't see Ireland losing with the defensive nature Trappatoni lines his teams up and I think we are likely to win, because we were well deserved for the draw at their ground in March with this team:

   01 Forde
    02 Coleman
    04 O'Shea
    14 Wilson
    15 Clark
    08 McCarthy
    11 McClean (Keogh - 83' )
    21 Green
    09 Long (Sammon - 87' )
    10 Keane (Hoolahan - 76' )
    13 Walters

We were great at hitting the wings and getting a lot of crosses in with Coleman and McClean having great games but it has to be said the chances were minimal to say the least for both teams, it ended 0-0 and if we were a little bit more clever with the best chance we had we could have taken all three points. With the added home advantage, I see the value in the bet because I think Ireland are being under-represented. I think it is wrong Sweden are on par with Ireland at 17/10 ish for the outrights, and it has to be said Ireland should be much bigger favourites here.

The way the league is poised at the moment sees Germany as runaway leaders, and Austria, Ireland and Sweden all on the same points and Ireland in the race for second place, we need to play Austria again too with Sweden needing to play Austria one more time also, so it is a game of chess here. But we play Austria away for our crunch game with them, so the emphasis here is definitely on us going for the win against Sweden, which is exciting as when we counter more, Ireland are always dangerous, after soaking up lots of pressure and placing so many men behind the ball.

Evens seems a decent bet here for a draw no bet, but I can only see the best odds shown for Ireland 0 in the handicaps (same thing). The huge necessity on Ireland needing at least a draw for us to have any chance of qualification here should see this bet being safe enough. We were unlucky not to beat Austria at home with them equalising in the last minute for a 2-2 draw.

Suggest £20.

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/world-cup/matches/republic-of-ireland-v-sweden/asian-handicap

Didn't know you were a ROI man or fan?!

Why are Ireland under-represented?

Nothing against Evens draw no bet personally, but wouldn't a draw be a decent shout I think with these two teams in this situation

Ireland are pragmatic, and workmanlike. Sweden are pragmatic, workmanlike and have blonde hair. Pretty similar types of teams

Shouldn't we be a little less conservative and back the draw?

Would say the draw is the most likely result, but with how the league is poised with us Austria and Sweden all on the same points the games against each other are crucial. We have Austria away from home which will be tougher than Sweden at home. We won't qualify with two draws, so I think Trappatoni, if he actually knows how, will be using every trick up his sleeve to win this in the most defensive way possible if that makes sense.

I think the draw no bet is the best bet at evens for a lowish stake like £20. I actually like the 1/2 bet on the double chance Ireland/Draw so much more, but would ask the thread to put a lot more on it and I doubt you guys would be comfortable with that.

In any case I really can't see Sweden winning here.

Oh, and my parents are Irish and I consider myself so despite being born and raised in London.

Tonight, Bristol City play Bristol Rovers.

Are these usually feisty affairs, & have the Cards/Bookings Markets reflected this?

I'll be AWOL from 7am in the morning until mid-evening tomorrow, as I'm heading up to the North Midlands & back to see a man about a dog.

If anything comes in overnight (tonight) I'll action it before I set off in the morning, & I may get Online briefly around Midday.

Ignore that. The dog is busy.

That's handy, as it allows you to focus on more important dog matters, Yarmouth on Sky Sports.

Thanks Scott.

I'll be offline for a few hours now, but should be home in time for this.

Good luck with your selections.

For those that follow Scott, he writes stuff for BetPal, & has done a review of tonight's card, here....

England v Moldova on Friday. Should be routine. Therefore I suggest a max bet on England to win to nil @ 9/20.

Priced up much smaller everywhere else and yes it's odds on, but I think it's pinching money personally. We beat them 5-0 away last time (http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/preliminaries/europe/matches/round=258374/match=300182319/report.html).

Also would suggest two £5 win singles on 7-0 and 8-0 wins which are 50's and 125 with Sporting Bet, not much value on any other scores.

Not sure what max bet is, but suggest on England to win to nil and the two £5 singles.

Good Luck.

Radiator beat rubbish racing up the massively favoured stands' rail at Lingfield. Wouldn't be going nuts over her tbh.

Conversely, I've been shopping round for prices for the most impressive 2yo I've seen this season, Free Eagle, winning the 2,000 Guineas and Derby next year.

He's currently 8/1 fav for the Derby and around 14/1 for the Guineas. If he wins the Guineas, he'll be very very short for Epsom.

Boyle's came up with 25/1, which is tight, but Ladbrokes offered 40/1, which is oi oi!

He's only running once more this season, which will either be in Ireland this weekend or later in the month.

This was his debut, when he beat a couple of subsequent winners (second and fourth).

Presume you have to call sadoldblokes to get the 40's?

Can't see any special double prices on their website.

At home to Scotland (50th in world rankings) in a meaningless friendly doesn't really show that much. We are at home to team we already beat 5-0 away who are ranked 123 in the rankings, the stats will probably show that they didn't have a chance in the game if I can remember correctly.

I'm sure it will be up for debate, no doubt!

Yuh, have to call. Might not be 40-1 now though. Still waiting for Buttermeup and Skysurebet to email me with their fancy prices.

Clearly impressive, Dermot Weld has an aversion to sending horses over for the Guineas tho.

Today was officially shit.
