Morning Mr T.

In today's super league Wakefield host Castleford, who are without Fred hero Justin Carney. However Wakefield are in a bad way and have had to sell their most influential player to Salford in order to meet the months wage bill. Castleford have the most potent offense at present and should be backed to win by more then the handicap of 2 points.

Suggest Castleford -2  £20 @ evs with Paddy Power.

Ladbrokes have the same bet available at 11/10 under Handicap betting 3 on the match page.

Can also be found via Alternative Handicap 3 on Oddschecker.

Sid James go evs with no handicap, so I've put Tikay £20 on with them as he is persona non grata.

Yesterday was all about Gordon Lord Byron, whose win netted a £410 profit (+£1,820 for horsey, -£1,410 for yours truly)

Natalie Gum-eddie bagged herself a pretty boy and is now a general 5/2 chance for Strickers, with Home Improvement's Ashley Taylor-Dawson next best at 4/1

Recommend £50 Creepies to finish in the top six in League One @ 5/1 Buttermeup

They're already there (sixth after beating Gillingham yesterday) and are the best team I've seen play the Poshies this season. They won at London Road and were very unlucky not to get something from the trip to Wolves. So they've got the two toughest games in the division out of the way already.

They've got plenty of size about them, are very well organised and have a bright young manager.

This is a weak league and Coral's 3/1 looks nearer the mark.

Next three games are home v Shrewsbury, away v Colchester and home v Oldham, so nothing too scary. If you wanted to go in harder with a view to laying some back, that would also be fine.

This is now 3/1. New plan please (asks tikay)

Regarding the Alonso bet.

Bet Victor now go 9-2 and first 2 ew-meh terms now.

Still like the bet at 5-1 first 3 ew with Stan James altho I'm not sure if fred can get on.

It's 9-2 with boyles at the same terms, but at that price i'd probs leave it.

No luck with Stan James

Any other recommendation on Alonso, or have we missed this (asks sleepyhead)

If fred can't get on at 5-1+ would just leave it, lose too much on the win part for my liking at under this price.

No back-up plan with Crawley unf, as Skybet the only other firm offering over 3/1. 9/2 is fine, but obv Skybet a no-go zone.

today i have been trying too spot value in the FA cup market

3 teams that stand out too me are 3 teams that should be finishing in the middlee of the pack in the premiership
swansea southampton and westham

swansea are 67.0 with corals but only 26.0 with ladbrookes one thing against swansea though is a possible run in europa league
there lack of strength in depth will likely mean a young side going out in early rounds and if they get a tough draw they could have
an early exit

west ham are 51.0 at a number of bookies but only 29.0 at bet365 the should be in relative safety by christmas and will want a cup run for the glory and for a europa league spot for next season a good cup run will be only thing they have left too really play for once they get points in the bag

southampton are 51.0 down at 34.0 and 35.0 in a number of spots at 40.0 on betfair basically the same as west ham it all depends really on if the chairman puts more emphasis on a top 10 spot or a good cup run

i would like too recomend £5 ew on the 3 teams listed but only at the prices listed

another possible way of playing this is too put on a win only bet on the 3 teams and laying the bets off when/if they get through a few rounds

views please

why?

the third round draw isn't until Dec, the third round not til Jan

Nothing is changing in the market before then

Just seems like a blindfold man sticking pins on a dozing FA Cup Donkey to be putting money on at this stage

betting after the draw means prices are going too swing violently prices will also change once teams have league points in the bag IMHO

thats not my point

the draw is not for two months. why bet now?

its a ludicrous competition nowadays anyway. No idea which teams will take it seriously anyway
