Chompy is a pro punter, never done a proper days work in his life, because he fully understands value, so he sits at home all day doing nothing.

Here we are looking at a sub-market, & it IS possible to find value far easier in sub-markets, especially when one firm is way ool with others. He is especially knowledgeable on Lower League little teams, too.

When he speaks, it is wise (but painful) to listen. He's almost a Mini Elder, in fact. Almost.

I may have got it wrong, of course. That's the whole Fred thing though, the judgement calls.

I had a pair of very expensive shoes and a really nice jacket. When I was at work the other week, someone commented on my shoes and asked where I got them from. I explained I bought them on holiday abroad at an independent retailer, so I don't expect they are sold in the UK. He asked whether I'd be prepared to sell them to him for more than I paid. I didn't really want to sell the shoes to someone I work with, plus they are nice shoes. I declined politely.

I was wearing the jacket in town and a suave looking fellow approached me, asking where he could buy the jacket I was wearing. I said "A friend of a friend works for Lanvin and it's not on sale until the spring". He begged me to sell my jacket to him, offering again far more than it was really worth. I decided I wanted to keep such a noticeably lovely jacket

Since those conversations, I haven't worn either the shoes or the jacket. The ones I wear instead are really nice, but I'm happy keeping the best ones in a box in the loft. No point wasting wardrobe space. Do I regret not selling them for huge amounts of money? No. How can you regret not selling nice things? Sure, they're in a box in the loft, but they are nice things, I have them and no one else does.

Not sure, but I think he has made more GUKPT Final Tables than anyone. No idea how.
