It's a shame they dropped the safety limit for the Cambridgeshire from 40 to 35, as there's plenty of room for that many.
I suspect the stands' rail won't be a popular spot and that the most clearly defined group will be the one on the far side (low).
The best pace is almost certainly Boonga Roogeta from stall 14 and she'll probably go far side.
Some horses are better in these big cavalry charges and Prince Of Johanne is definitely one of them.
He's run in two Hunt Cups, two Cambridgeshires and a Lincoln. Soft ground was no good to him at Doncaster this spring. Otherwise, he's won a Hunt Cup and a Cambridgeshire. He also ran well down the wrong side in this last year and was brought up the near side from stall 8 in this season's Hunt Cup, which stuffed his chance.
He wants a straight course, big field and fast ground, and he's for all three. He's drawn right next to Boonga Roogeta in 15 too.
Rec £15 @ 48 on the machine.

Elsewhere, any thoughts on BARNET FAIR at Haydock? Track and going ideal. He'll come late. 16/1 knocking about
(As ever, a question, rather than a tip)

Good Speech 6/1
suggest £25 win betfred still 6/1
for a class 4 this is a pretty poor race, selection still unexposed at this trip (to far last time) and i would have it about 4/1 fav
Lovely, thanks John.

I'm pot committed with Educate, so I backed him last week with a £20 free bet @ 16/1.
Antepost I have backed Seek Again, Proud Chieftain and Queensberry Rules.
Bets last night/ today are Mr Taylor's Belgian Bill e/w and Pricewise's King George River.
The upside of a bricked day today, is that I will be rejoining the 'Blonde will make you thin' thread tomorrow morning
Good luck everyone!

I thought a high draw in that Haydock race Tal, although I would defer to Graham. I like Racy, Masamah and Cheviot which I bet ew already at 16/1. I haven't gone mad as they are bound to get it down to 15-runners.
Prince of Johanne is on my shortlist as (funnily enough) is Boonga Roogeta.

Right-ho. Thanks.
There's a poker gag in here somewhere, but I'm rubbish at draws.

Do you think Arsaadi from 11 along with Boonga Roo from 14 could make the pace for the lower/middle drawn numbers Chompy?

sure this will have been asked before or its totally obvious but....
is it better to take the extra each way place or to take the bigger price at 1 place less
example
belgian bill 40/1 bet365 with 5 places or 28/1 skybet 6 places

Lots of people suggest lots of things Iron.......
Pretty sure Camel suggested it before you became a regular here. It matters not, it's not the sort of thread where we need egos.
