Curious one I'd be interested in views.  Just wandered into Ladbrokes and saw a wall of prices for Wales -v- S.A

One of these was "winning margin x5" and South Africa were 200/1 to win by 51+ (i.e. 11 real points)

I'm not into Rugby, I couldn't name half the Wales team and even fewer of the Saffers, but as 4pt favs for the match, winning by 11pts+ just didn't feel like a 200/1 to me.

I've probably just been mugged for a tenner, but will be happy to have anything of a sweat at those prices.  I assume I've misunderstood the market, but never mind Smiley

I assume I've misread it, but "Winning Margin x 5" was definitely the market

Has to be a misread, Simon.* Looks way too good to be true.

*Or some ridiculous caveat, or T & C's.

Have to doff my cap to Lord Tighty on the Suarez bet. Only injury or the transfer window can stop him now.

Why would they have a market x5...it doesnt really make any sense.  Looks more like that is the actual price to win by 51+ points.

You rang?

Fainted twice in rehearsals and has been taken to hospital as a precaution. She is allowed to miss one week but must be fit to dance next Saturday or she will have to leave.

Sorry. Am playing Day 2 of the Big Game at DTD at Grosvener Birmingham. If anyone hears anything else, happy to know. Just do so before 10 as I'll be logging off Fred until the results show then.

One of those "corner of your eye" moments as you walk out the door... of 20-odd screens that was the only number I could see.

If SA win by 11+ I'm definitely presenting the ticket.  In the old days of shop manager settling bets, very much a non-zero chance of getting paid.

Of the market, all I can remember was 600/1 to win 46-50 and 200/1 51+ for SA.  For Wales, 1000/1 46-50 and 1000/1 51+

Fiona is 2/1 with BetFred and Victor.  Beats Betfair.  Seems obvious to me.  Would give Tal a reason to logout at 10.

Don't know what to make of the Nat news.  Can't be good news for the bet, but don't think we need to panic do anything.
