A nice surprise for the Handicap bet after the debacle at Swansea

I know United are struggling espeically in midfield, but Newcastle were solid

If Villa beat Fulham 4-0, they go above United.

Says a lot about United!

Tighty probably knows more about the Glazers with their Tampa Bay Buccs ownership, but I'd imagine Fergie still holds a lot of sway there and he won't be calling for a change at the helm

Hills doing their channel 4 mobile thing tomorrow.  Suggest Sire De Grugy (7/4) in the Tingle Creek (3pm at Sandown) and Tarquin De Seuil (3/1) in the 1.50pm there.

Make sure you use your mobile to put £25 on each.

Will be there cheering them home.

Enjoy Sandown, David, the weather is mild but heavily overcast at the moment.

I remember to do these via Mobile. Just.

Tarquin is now 11/4 with Wm Hil, which is not best price, Betfair go 3.9, & the bookies vary from 5/2 to 3/1, but given the concession, I think we are just about OK. I hope, anyway. We got the 7/4 for Grugy.

BETS PLACED

Sire de Grugy gets home with plenty to spare.

Well done Doobs, 1 from 2 but a handy profit.

Been a decent day so far.

Time to go to bed for my afternoon nap, & to reflect on that Derby & Saphir de Rheu moment.

I think they will be at pains to give him a lot of time. Ferguson's speech on the pitch after his last game insisted as such and did seem to expect a transition period of difficulty. He's a director, has the ear of the Glazers etc

At what point results are so bad that this tips into another thought process by board and owners, I don't know

Presumably he has the Jan transfer window to reshape (needs a midfield in the worst way, no?), see where they are end of season

and as a result one of Hughton/Allardyce etc will go before Moyes

As they are playing at the moment they literally have no chance of top 4.  Something drastic needs to happen.  Its not even like they are running bad.  Pretty much all of the results have been fair enough stats wise.  In terms of things like shot domination they are a legit 8th or 9th place team.
