Chompy Chompy Doobs Doobs

Dancing on Ice is back in January for the last ever series, this time they are inviting back past contestants winners and a few funny ones (Todd Carty!). Anyway Kyran Bracken won it and was very popular, he is priced up at 8-1 with Hills

What do you think?

Cheers Neil. Happy Birthday to you sir, always felt you should be older than me, but not countable in days though!

Remarkable transformation from your picture as a surprised child though, I must say.

Congrats on your Aspers win. Might not have got the lot, but a very good chunk Ty.

Think I better steer clear of Fred today if you are all anti railing the mighty Gooners, but I do think a little save could be in order on that goals bet. If we get an early one, those spineless Italians may just capitulate. Makes sense in my simple head anyway.

No idea, barely watched it before.  Really looking forward to Splash though.

Everton have just got 4 points at Man U and Arsenal, and looked v impressive doing so

Their Xmas Schedule is as follows

Away

Swansea
Stoke

Home

Southampton
Sunderland

Paddy Power offer a market for most PL points 21/12 - 1/1, over 4 games

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/most-points-21-dec-1st-jan

Everton are 9/1

Over that Period Arsenal have Chelsea, home and Newcastle away

Man City have Liverpool Home (but have Fulham, Palace, Swansea over the remaining 3 games. Hence are favourites)

Chelsea have Liverpool too

Man U have Hull/Norwich away and West Ham/Tottenham home. 11/2 would look very attractive in any other year, but in any other year they wouldn't be 11/2

Of course any side can have a run of say 8-9 points out of 12 and win this.

Everton have lost once all season, in 15 games, and are unbeaten at home.

9-1 has to be a price here doesn't it, looking at the sides above them playing each other over Xmas as described above?

Happy to be told I am wrong. If I am not, suggest a speculative £20 e/w PP (1/4 top 3) if you can at 9-1.

Looks certainly a fair price

My worry would be that im not sure yet Everton can dominate games which look easier on paper

Obviously based on the last two performances they are a nap bet

Yep. Thats what I was trying to say in my ham fisted way. On form, great, but not a surprise if they didn't, but at that price, its hard to ignore

Here is how the Scottish League One table looks after 15 games, Rangers clearly are going to win, but will they win every game? They are away at Stenhousemuir this weekend, the fifth placed team and Rangers are 1.15.

What price would you make them to win EVERY GAME in the league for the rest of the season?

That Everton bet looked a corker, but I cannot get online until this evening, bugger.

It is mathematically possible for three teams to finish on 12 points in Arsenal's CL group should Napoli beat Arsenal and Dortmund beat Marseille.

If this happens "the two qualifiers will be decided by the precise scorelines between the three teams" according to EUFA, whatever that means.

As I said in my report

The combined score for the two Napoli Dortmund games was 4-3 Dortmund so in the event of ties on points after tonight Dortmund rank above Napoli, hence why I said they need to finish with more points than Dortmund

It is likely that Dortmund beat Marseille, hence why Napoli are up against it

As Arsenal beat Napoli 2-0 in London, iirc, things only get interesting then if Napoli beat Arsenal by more than 2 tonight

Summary. The Napoli CL bet is in severe trouble

Brilliant abacus usage earlier on. Arsene might want to have his math worked out in advance, just in case he has to avoid that difficult next round draw.

City's next opponent will be PSG, Real Madrid, Barcelona or Atletico Madrid (if Arsenal and Chelsea finish top).

If Arsenal were to finish 2nd they can add Bayern Munich to that list of possible opponents.

Only interested 8/1 or higher - ie 2/1+ the place.
