Crime Time

Cant help thinking Man City at home to Arsenal should be a lot shorter for the home team.

Putting my supporters hat to one side I had this at 4/7 for a Citeh win.

As a Gooner, our record to the "Big 3" has been appalling for years, and we even lost again to Man U this season. ......incred I know!!

The last week has seen some tough games and Arsenal not perform very well, whereas City will be bouncing after their defeat of Munich. They are also awesome at home.

17/20 just looks too big with BMU.

Trying to be objective, so need others thoughts please.

agree with this

Giroud had this say to say after the game last night

"We were all exhausted at the end. Me more than anyone"

Been following this thread for a while now and thought maybe I could contribute something. Coincidentally I have just had a bet on this match this morning, I've gone for City /FT best price 2/1 with Betfair Sportsbook. No injurys, (apart from Nastasic but irrelevant really as De Michelis is competent), key players rested midweek (Kompany, Yaya, Aguero, Negredo), and Silva got a much needed 70 minutes after injury. Arsenal played a close to full strength team last night and as has been said already are going to be jaded at best.

City won 7/7 at home this season, albeit none of the opponents have been as strong as Arsenal, but the half time/ full time has been a winning bet in 6 of the 7 so far.

So Man City / FT 2/1 Betfair Sportsbook.

Just seen this Rob, sorry.

Welcome to Fred, about time too.

We missed 2/1, but took 19/10, also BetFair Sportsbook.

Lets start with a winner, please!

BET PLACED

THE EXCHANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jeez, 15 exclamation marks.......

Apologies. I placed the bet on the Sportsbook, not the Exchange.

I'm afraid it is 0035, & I've been up since 0500 this morning, & I'm trying to get to bed, so I did not check the Exchange.

If someone had pointed out that a better price was available on the Exchange before I placed the bet, I would have gone that route, of course.

No refunds and it looks like the guy that has scored all the tds for Denver has played most of the snaps in his place.  Pretty irritating really.

Daily Report

Profit on Month £155.41

Outstanding Bets £3170.66

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&usp=drive_web#gid=33

A loss of £54 yesterday

Dnipro lost 2-1 to Firentina from 1-0 up, -£50

Tamme did not score the first Denver TD - £4. The frustrating thing is that the player who replaced Welker, who I assumed would be Tamme, Andre Caldwell scored 2 TDs, went 6-59 and scooped at 16-1.

Anyway

San Diego beat Denver. This raises the possibility that the Chiefs could still beat the Broncos to the division. The Chiefs probably need to win their last three and because Denver hold the tiebreaker over ther Chiefs, Denver would need to lose another game. Still, last night was a useful loss for us

Also interesting last night was Rivers only throwing for 166 and Manning throwing for 289. A big game for Brees and/or Stafford this weekend might make things very interesting in our quarterback bets

In the cricket England lost their third toss in a row. At 140-5 they were in with a shout and then let it slip such that its advantage Australia again at the end of the first day

Panesar did not play, as expected, so void on that one

For us, Broad took another two wickets and moved further ahead of a lacklustre Anderson

Currently , wickets taken

Broad 13
Swann 6
Anderson 5

Because the batting bets are such a mess due to England's capitulation in the face of pace, bounce, hostility and comedy moustaches, we need the Broad bet to come in. So far so good

As for Mr Sherwood, I always thought he was a smart bloke. I suppose I would have just made the top 20.

Mr Channing, as I said a recent results oriented appraisal off the top of my head. Rest assured yours is the only tipping service/ sports analysis I pay for (and I can heartily recommend, although please run better than the last two weeks)

Bloody hell, Rob S. There's a blast from the past.

Hello.

Warmest regards Mr Hawkins. Hope all is good

Thanks Tikay.

Just to clarify, 3.05 on the exchange = 2.95 (with 5% comm), so when I put up 2/1 that was at the time best price. Not to worry anyway, a winner is a winner!

Ha,

If you run good on Day 1 it's vital to dress similarly on Day 2 onwards (as long as it's hygenic of course).......... these small edges all add up in the long run

Poppycock!

You should dress progressively more smartly for each day of a comp. The first session of the main event final table, being in the afternoon, should be in a shirt and tie (nothing ostentatious, though. We don't want to be confused for the locals). After the dinner break should be black tie.

Heads up in white tie.
