Tony a few suggestions for you tomorrow.

Chris O'Grady first goalscorer for Barnsley v Yeovil - He is 6/1 is a couple of places, however generally 9/2 stuff everywhere else, they are playing pretty decent, he's the top goalscorer & I believe he is the penalty taker too. I think 6/1 is a good price here and I would expect to Barnsley to score a goal or two. I think Sheriff might have better few on this than me, but I think 6/1 is good and suggest £10.

Money back if second.......

I don't know if Doobs will be around, but it looks like some very good chances to take advantage of this offer for £25 in each.

1.50 Cheltenham - £25 on Kings Palace, best price with Hills.

2.05 Doncaster - Royal Irish Hussar is 4/7 favourite with Hills & looks the very likely winner, however not sure there is a bet in there for just £25 & Corals are quite bigger and standout at 4/6.

3.00 Cheltenham - The New One is 1/2 with Hills, generally best price, however like above, not sure it's a bet. Personally don't think there is much between that & the second favourite which is Zarkander at 9/4 and therefore suggest £25 at 9/4.

3.35 Cheltenham - There are 4 runners & looks competitive. There might be other views on this race, but my personal preference would be with More of That at 3/1, rather than the favourite, plus we are one of the worst prices with Hills. This is a debatable race though, however seems like a must bet, imo

Bad news in the NBA, no score in the last 10 seconds, was a shot but it was a deep 3 and it was missed. In better news....we didn't need it to, easily covered the spread, final score OKC 122 LA Lakers 97. Kobe had 13 assists in 23 mins before having a rest if any followed in on that, I scooped all 4 bets on that one, let's hope the run good continues in game 2, just starting now...only bet I have here is with Fred, Warriors -3.5

Not a Fred recommend but if anyone fancies taking a bit of a chance I could see Double Ross running a big race in the December Gold Cup on Saturday.

He looks to be one of only two probable front runners and he has no weight. He jumps well for a novice and has good course form. So far his form is nothing to sing about, but some collateral form with Balder Success makes him looked well handicapped to me. It was also at a time when Twisters horses were running poorly, and they are doing better no.w A few in the race have done us some favours already this year and may not be so well handicapped now.

The clincher is 16s with Boyles and paying first 4, because I will be surprised if the full 16 stand their ground(Old friend Cantlow has been drifting in and out all day on Betty, for one).

I would also be keen on Cantlow, if McCoy sticks with him over the favourite Colour Squadron. However at declaration time, if he does opt for C,  the price will go immediately. Also, as I said, on Betty his price is fluctuating, so he may not even run, so a bit of pays your money, takes your choice.

McCoy to ride Colour Squadron and Choc Thornton on Cantlow

Happy with the DR bet, now @ 9/10-1, but feel market may be over reacting to McCoy not choosing Cantlow. Much as i avoid Choc, if Cantlow goes 14s in the ring today, i shall be topping up.

Tough day with plenty of shorties which aint my bread and butter, so more beer than bets at Chelts today. GL

Cantlow 14/1 with Victor atm...

I was quite happy going through the card last night, and seeing that there are lots of small fields.

Could be my cheapest Saturday in a while, even with a brick Smiley

Ha!

Had an e-Mail overnight.......

Hello Tony,

Congratulations. Our NBA Money Back Special has clicked which means we're giving you your money back.

That's right, your bet has lost but you're not losing out. We just want to be loved and since we can't turn up on your doorstep with a guitar, a badly written love song and a cheap bottle of sparkling wine, we're refunding your losing stake instead.

Don't forget, we offer Money-Back Specials all the time. So if this hasn't happened to you before, start getting used to it.

The necessaries: your refund will appear in your account in the form of a manual adjustment. You can view your account online by logging in and clicking on "My Account" followed by "All transactions".

Best of luck,

The Team @ Paddy Power

Morning Jaffa Bloke,

Well done on scooping in the Lakers game, Fred just had the outright, but it won, so I'm delighted. We had £22 @ 10/11, so £42 returned.

It would seem the other bet lost, but triggered the Money Back thing, so we got a £22 REFUND.

The 3.35 doesn't qualify as there are only 4 runners, but I wouldn't pick a 3/1 chance that is 4/1 elsewhere anyway.  4/1 is better than 3/1 with the offer.

I'd always take 4/6 about a 4/7 chance, because the maths is a lot better than the above.

I'd also back The New One.  It is very close to best price with Hills, Zarkandar isn't.  Think best odd guaranteed will likely save you.

So definitely add Royal Irish Hussar to the above and definitely take out More of That.  Don't think it really matters in the Zarkandar race, but Aaron's suggestion is probably ok, just not the one my blind spider would pick.

Morning Doobs.

My mental faculties are even worse than normal first thing in the morning, but have you typed that back to front?

i.e., in THIS case, we'd take 4/7 about a 4/6 chance?

Definitely.  If it doesn't win we get money back for 2nd.  That combined with the 4/7 makes it better than 4/6.  And we also get best price guaranteed so we might get 4/6 or better anyway.

Make sure you use the mobile.

Sorry Aaron, but I wouldn't touch this bet at the moment.  O'Grady has been out injured for a few weeks and has only returned to training this week.  There's a chance he might not take any part in the game at all.

However, I do really like the 17/1 available on Paddy McCourt as First Goalscorer with Unibet and 888, which is way out of line with the general 10/1, 11/1 elsewhere.  Recommend a decent sized bet on this, although I'm not sure what that equates to for Fred in £ terms.

I'd specifically suggest this as a FGS bet, rather than an anytime or last goalscorer one, as he's something of an enigma so if having an ineffective game, he might get subbed later on.

Susanna Reid is the new favourite for Strictly Come Dancing heading into this weekend's semi-final.

She was backed yesterday and the money has continued today to leave the BBC Breakfast presenter out on her own at the head of the market.

Reid is currently a general 7/4 shot.

"Almost 90% of bets placed in the last 24 hours have been for Susanna. Our customers are backing her as if she cannot lose," said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.

However, the prices still suggest otherwise with four of the five contestants still at 9/2 or less.

Actress Natalie Gumede is 3/1, singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor 4/1 and model Abbey Clancy 9/2.

Actor Patrick Robinson is the 40/1 outsider and is a best of 4/6 to be the next eliminated.

I meant to come back on this.  There was a story allegedly leaked to the Daily Star that Susannna was clear in last week's poll.  I don't know if it added much we didn't already know.  It was already clear that she was likely top in the poll, which is why she was a bet at 5/1.  Unfortunately the further price crash happened before I saw the Star story.  I wouldn't back her at the current 13/8.  It was specifically said that she was top in last week's viewers vote and didn't say about any others.  She hasn't been top that frequently in the other polls.  I'd be more likely to use it as a reason to back Sophie again, she was 2nd in the vote.

Of more concern for thread, Nat was quoted as 4th.   There is still a very good chance she places, but thee win part looks a lot less promising than it once did.
