Wow, that's some long Daily Report, Rich.

Thanks for mentioning that the special end of regular season NFL round-up will follow later. Could be a fun night tonight, & we'll all be watching the one & only Kevin Cadle........

Glad you made special mention of RobS, what a start by Rob, 3 from 3.

I think yesterday was one of THE most fun days we've had here, with 5 or 6 really nice winners. The Yaya bet was perfect, & that skiing bet will go down as one my my favourite Fred bets ever.  Skiing, who'd have thought? Nice Ascot winner @ 4/1 by Chompers, too.

We are blessed here to have some real experts in a wide variety of sports, & all of them giving us tips, advice, & the logic behind them, completely free.

In the big bash the Adelaide game was rained off in Tasmania

Hales scored 49 in a six over whack before it was abandoned, so thats respectable enough

--

The Scorchers batted first against the Heat....with our man Dwayne Smith missing, and Mike Marsh top scored with 57. So thats the deficit we have going to game 2

Big Bash Update

Our outright bet on Hales gets going in the early hours tonight at 2.50 am. He plays for Adelaide Strikers.

Dwayne Smith will miss the first game for Perth Scorchers tomorrow morning at 8 due to personal reasons (bit out of the blue). Hopefully it will be just the one game he misses.

Ideally what we want is Marsh not get a big score for the Scorchers. Even though he will miss a few games due to the ODI's, we don't want too much of a mountain to climb.

Currently Luke Wright is top scorer with his blistering 70 for the Stars, the other big threat IMO is Maddinson who got 61 for the Sixers today.

It's a long tournament but will be nice to get a decent start.

Thanks, & Tighty has further updated that this morning.

Looking forward to this.

Regarding the Taylor outright bet the one worry I had and I posted at the time was that he had peaked too early in the year.
I remember he done the same a few years ago.

I still like our Lewis bet and I think he should be favourite as he's so consistent at the All Pally, MvG is very erratic and seems to be struggling with how much he has been drinking before games.
He was pretty drunk in his first round game and if he played any of the top 16 in that nick he would b on the next Ferry Home.

The average bet looks cursed, I think that's 10 Players averaged over 97 without any getting a Ton.

No worries on Taylor, we had a cracking price, & I have no regrets on the bet. Lewis can still give us a good spin. MVG is busy on the Corporate circuit, & I have a feeling his eye is off the ball a bit.

The averages bet is in deep, deep, trouble, but such is life, we may still get oit of it. Do you think the standard of play has improved this year?

* Barnsley drew at Leeds, a good point but much like Sheff U, we need wins, and quick. With Doncaster and Sheff W losing we are still in touch in the top South Yorkshire club bet, though its a bit like comparing which of three ugly gargoyles you prefer. You have to choose one, but its not easy!

Reading this analogy brought a chuckle to my Sunday morning.

I tried to take umbrage, I really did, but it's hard to argue against this, and I was too busy laughing at the time to get my head in the right frame of mind to do it!

The injury list at Wednesday is mounting at the moment & I'm not sure when they are going to be back. We aren't a good team when wickham and Antonio are playing, they are now injured & I'm not sure they'll be back for Blackburn game. We also have gardener, zayatte, Buxton and Nuihi out too, we have nothing up front really.

I am not sure if we have the attacking threat to score at Blackburn, so they probably only need to score one.

They are 10/11, it won't be around long! Suggest £55, however could really do with rick posting as he is more down with who is actually injured and how long for!

Not to mention 2 bad games v Wigan and Bournemouth in last few days.

Who played up front yesterday Aaron, looking at the team pre game they looked very light in attacking threats. Did Halen play in an advanced role when he came on?

Honesty I've not been as depressed about Wednesday's future since the Seventies which were horrendous.

Firstly, Gray will not get the manager job, not unless Mandaric is away with the fairies.

Yesterday was without doubt in the bottom 10 performances I've seen ever. It was shockingly bad.

I think 10/11 on Blackburn is a cracking bet. The only hope is getting Wickham back and playing 4-5-1 and doing a smash and grab job. Not sure about his injury situation.

We have a shockingly bad midfield and got outplayed, outfought and over run by a Bournemouth team who played some nice football. Grabban and Ritchie played very well and impressed me.

Up front if Wickham is out we have no recognised striker now - apart from Savic, a young kid signed from Sampdoria I think, who is likely to be way out of his depth. So Gray will probably play a winger, Maghoma or Jermaine Johnson up front.

Bobby, Nuhui and J Johnson started up front, in second half it changed to Nuhui with Maghoma playing behind him, then Nuhui got injured and Savic came on. Helan came on as a sub yesterday and played left side midfield and did his usual impression of a headless chicken.

Defensively, its difficult to know where to start - the on loan keeper from Arsenal Martinez is some how first choice above Kirkland (who had been our best player this season) and was at fault in part for both goals. The left back Reda Johnson was way, way off the pace and was dire, as was Llera who made numerous basic mistakes.

We have been relatively tight defensively but yesterday exposed our weaknesses brutally.

Don't get me started about the off field issues - MM is borrowing money from third parties secured against the stadium and says we are losing £5m a year.

Apart from that, everything in the garden is rosy :-)

In summary - I like 10/11 on Blackburn.

Boxing Day. I've just got on. Blackburn on the handicaps would also be worth serious consideration.

Have to agree, a wonderful analogy.

Which one is Barnsley, though?

Thanks Aaron, & Rick for the back-up.

The 10/11 is still there, so we've had £33 @ 10/11 with Corals, Blackburn to win.

Dear Mr Kendall

For the second time this month, I must express my sadness at the behaviour of one of your staff.

After last weeks foul mouth outburst, I had hoped that Mr End would be a be a little more circumspect in his behaviour, but sadly, no.

Cast your minds back a few weeks, and I recall a Mr Doobs got a tirade of abuse from a certain Mr End and Mr Tal, when posting results on Fred in SCDgate. I think there were even some tears.

So the last thing I expect when I return home last night from a Christmas evening of merriment is to find the SCD result plastered all over Fred.

It totally ruined my whole family's enjoyment of the recording(as avid Fred readers, all the family had the moment spoilt).

I do fear that if this certain sort of behaviour goes unchecked , Fred will soon start attracting other unsavoury elements. We have people from Newcastle on here as it is!

Its the start of a slippery slope, and I hope in the days ahead I don't have to refer back to this in an aftertiming sort of way, and say I told you so, if things get out of hand.

Mr Kendall, I am sure you will follow the correct course of action as always.

Regards, and wishes for a Merry Christmas.

The difference is the result was being posted on here a few weeks ago on here before it was public (filmed Saturday, broadcast on Sunday night)

Last night was no different to watching any event live and commenting "as it happens". It was publically available info, unlike posting info that was publically embargoed

Mr Adz

Ha!

I was with you until I got to the bit where you suggested you enjoy SCD.

I did have to laugh at the Newcastle jibe though. We can always rely on dearest plinop to suddenly & immediately pop up on Fred when Newcastle get a result. This time it was to start a debate with War Ant Peace over the merits of yesterdays totally expected drubbing of Palace. Quite what that had to do with Fred, I've no idea. God bless War Ant Peace for taking the endless discussion elsewhere.

So, to the matter in hand, I shall arrange to have Tighty thoroughly admonished, maybe even a straight red.

Can we assume you will take over the Daily Reports & Spreadsheet duties forthwith? Excellent news.

Your obedient servant, (who tipped Abbey Clancy @ 4/1, you note),
