Yes Nick, we were nice to Up/Down/Middle Eso for the entire day.

Quite a thing though, a million views so quickly, & barely a spot of bother along the way.

seems like the arsenal game tonight is in some doubt due to the weather@?

It has absolutely tipped down with rain all day in London, John.

Be a shame if it does not go ahead, it would have been one of the biggest betting events of the football season, & the bookies will be hoping to recoup some of yesterday's whopping losses. I hear Camel feels very bad for their plight, especially as the Festive season approaches.

Yes seems that way

Imagine they will try the best to get it on, was quite surprised the overs price shortening on the machine today with the conditions

Pretty bad down on the coast now

Someone put Barkley up a month or so ago after an Englsnd game when he was 2/1 in one place, can't see how it is a bet now. Manchester United bet is no good either, they was 22-1 with same gap not long ago, which I took.

In other news the Blackburn bet is looking decent, price getting smaller, sometimes I do talk sense, and 1 in 50 bets I post is pretty decent Cheesy. It does frustrate me though having the one of my biggest win singles backing a team that my own team is playing Sad

Don't think Man U can be a bet at either price, when Newcastle are 2 ahead and 1000/1.  Man U are more likely to win, but it can't be anything close to 50 x as likely.

I remember a school football match when I was 11. Tipped it down all through lunchtime and we went to the teacher in charge and asked whether the game would be called off.

I'll never forget Mr Barlee's response.

"Never see a footballer drown"

Does make me laugh hearing Tony Gale saying the wind will be too much of a problem for the players. I'm sure the teams in theDog and Duck league would love a flat pitch that isn't at 45degrees towards one goal, doesn't have dog mess on it and has changing rooms instead of cars.

At best, yes. The water table by the Thames must be well high at the moment.

Will Arsène have his baby elephant on display tonight?

I played in a Rugby game in School on top of a mountain and it pissed down and blew a gale all game. It was nil nil With seconds left and we were awarded a penalty on their 22 yard line. We were playing against the hurricane and our outside half, one Dai Evans who went on to captain Cardiff RFC and play for Wales, kicked the penalty to win the game. I caught it on the halfway line. It was the only nil nil match I have ever seen. If fifteen year old kids can play in those conditions Premiership footballers need to man up and earn their salaries.

Cant see that just because we missed the optimum price he isn't a bet now. I have missed the optimum price a zillion times but doesn't mean I cant be profitable. I think sometimes we get a little confused here at times with value and perceived value. Anyway....

I am not the football guru her by a long way, but I can't see how he won't be in the squad if he keeps doing what he is doing.

I still find this funny years on:

Almost as funny as hearing Jamie Carragher say Schürrle.

Impossible not to laugh at "Corey Pavin". That just comes out of nowhere. Genius.
