http://www.oddschecker.com/awards/national-tv-awards/best-tv-detective

Only watched the superb Sherlock, evens looks value. I'd have expected odds on. Others may know better?

Jack Cloth has been cruelly overlooked.

Only concern (he's the best actor in the best part) is that it's an ITV awards show. Who votes for the winner?

No idea who votes, public?

Saga NorĂ©n is clearly the best TV detective this year, scandalously ignored  Smiley

100% public and seeing as the telephone number to vote is pretty well disguised, I am assuming it is mainly going to be done online at http://www.nationaltvawards.com/.

I think only Luther is competing with Sherlock so the ITV bias shouldn't be too great. Plus Sherlock will be fresh in the memory with the voting probably being most popular now. Chompy will surely be your man to confirm this is good, I think it is.

Prices can't be right? Evs, 6-1, 14-1, 14-1 in a four-horse race?

Ladbrokes LDO

Titan and Mars for the quiz.  No idea what this is though.  Google seemed to think it was something to do with Titan and Mars

It's a six horse but they don't have the other two up.

Mars was the Roman God of War. There was a War of the Titans in Greek Mythology. Titan is one of the largest moons of Saturn.

Either of those close?

Thank you sir.

Get involved folks. Even if you only know a handful, it will make the weekend answer/scoring reveal more fun.

The Footballer is the fantastically named Magnus Wolff Eikrem which means Cardiff now have a Wolf and a Pitbull in their midfield.

The American Football game was a nod towards how cold it is in the U.S.A. at the moment, actually the same temperature as Mars which I found quite interesting but obviously not very sporty.

Will try to do better tomorrow.

Skirting over the Beasley accident last night (tho I did fall out of love with it as soon as I posted n saw Wade was indeed going to play so he wouldn't be getting much game time, as the Tals call it, thought it would be more jolly to update on MC Dub, Michael Carter-Williams, who is back fit and firing, had 33 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists last night. His Philly team lost, as is to be expected, but he's shining, and even his back-up is injured now so he's playing all the more. He's head and shoulders fave for Rookie of the Year.

Lots of injuries about at the moment which makes some of the sub-markets well worth playing, as it seems to me most of the lines are just set by people looking up the average and not considering this guy might now be playing twice as much, or getting twice as many shots due to circumstance. Will keep an eye out...

That IS interesting!

Keep them coming. Hope you're a Stargazing Live fan. I tried plying Tikay's diary with pictures of various nebulae, but he just lumped with what he delicately refers to as "art bollox". You won't get your much-deserved love for your labours in these parts.

This is 11 light years in diameter. If you and I stood at opposite ends of the Crab Nebula and you waved, I wouldn't see you waving for 11 years.
