Do we get to see any golf on Sky's coverage?  Showing more of these studio clows than the actual golf.

tiger playing duff, phil pulled out, no rory - they might actually just cancel the coverage.

Will just have to throw cupcakes then.

Not sure what you've been backing Adzy, but if you can't make a profit off Poshies, you should probably give the game up.  Wink

Based on today you are probably right!!

tiger playing duff,

Touch of understatement.  Think it is safe to write that one off.  Perez still has hopes.

I have just enabled two step authentication on my Betfair account.

There have been lots of reports recently about Betfair accounts being hacked and all funds cleared out. I haven't heard of anyone yet who has been refunded by Betfair.

Basically you download an app called google authenticator onto your smartphone and this app generates an additional code that you need to input when logging in.
I have set it so it only asks for this additional code when I login from a new unrecognised device. So I've just done it for all my phones, tablets and laptops and I won't be troubled again. But it does mean a hacker won't be able to log in to my account from a unrecognised device.

For people that keep large balances at Betfair I think this is a must. Well actually I think this is a must for everyone really.

Not for Fred but I have a chess bet where Sky is slow.

The candidates tournament is in March. The last major comp before it is the Wijk aan Zee tournament that is just coming to an end. Lev Aronian is destroying the field, with 8/10 and one round to come. He's already won the tournament by a distance. Only Anand (who has seemed broken) and Kramnik (the main contender) are missing.

The real point is Aronian is favourite for the Candidates and was 3/1 before the start of the Wijk comp and 5/2 the other day.

He's now 6/4 with Marathon and Unibet (the two I can find offering prices so far on the Candidates) BUT skybet still go 5/2.

I don't fancy Aronian much at 6/4, but he can't be both 6/4 and 5/2 and he's in superb form right now.

Just letting Fred know anyway.

So do I bet him or don't I Tal?

Too many cryptic messages on here at times, for a simple man like me.

Just back him.  Compared the books and think he must be right.

Sorry. I went to write a long one, then that disappeared, so I ended up writing neither a long one nor a short one and making not enough sense.

Now 11/8.

You are now part of Tal's first great chess betting coup.

Surprised Tikay missed this gem on his last UKPC update.

Richard Whitehead on splash was incredible.

Does he get 9 if he is able bodied and does that hand stand dive?

40 marathons in 40 days is hugely impressive, not sure this is.

Think 2/5 for the heat looks big mind.

I think if an able bodied person nailed a handstand dive from the 10 metre board they would be in with a good shout to win.
