I noticed in a couple of last years majors they were happy to put up stand out best prices that were arbs on the last day 2-balls. They obviously think they have a clue. it is great to see someone acting like a bookmaker in this day and age. My account is not even allowed £1 on any horse race but they laid a decent bet on Oost and Fowler.

Nice one Teeks (good to see you yesterday Simon, was a bit distracted by two separate text conversations I was having that were tilting me).

Nice to see Tighty too. Amazed he has had time to be on here, must be absolutely cream-crackered. Doing a great job at DTD.

You too, sir.

It is ridiculous how Tighty manages it. I'm convinced he's one of identical triplets.

For the Hills free bets, 2 suggestions. Both are close to top price and will give us a decent long term sweat.

http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/t20-world-cup/twenty20-world-cup/winner

NZ for t20 world cup. They've picked a spin friendly squad and are in really good form as a country in all 3 forms atm.

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/champions-league/winner

PSG for champions league.

these?

I've been busy backing Fentara at 3/1 in the 4.30 Newcastle. It was 3.85-3.9 on Betfair a few minutes ago but it's back to around 4.0 now. Hills are 3/1.

If you get time, or if anyone else likes grinding these.  Hills mobile £25s.

2.05 Kempton Actival 15/8, you just missed 2/1 meh
2.40 Balder Success 5/4
3.15 Kempton Irving 10/11
3.30 Lingfield Grandeur 13/8

I put one of my free bets on Cue Card at 8/1 in the Gold Cup.  On Betfair and I think this horse is frequently underrated.  Think he goes in this race, but has some non runner risk.  Also a non staying risk, but he wouldn't be 8/1 if there wasn't!
It is probably too late to get on the  Tom Segal tips.  The PSG one looks fine as on Betfair.

Yaya Toure to score anytime at 15/8 with Betfred tomorrow, home to Stoke

As short as 5/4 elsewhere

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/man-city-v-stoke/anytime-goalscorer

Likely to be pushed into attacking midfield again with the return from injury of Fernandinho - he's been less further forward in recent away games and at home in Europe

on free kicks, on penalties - has scored from 7 of 8 dead ball attempts so far this season

with twelve goals already this season. Hasn't scored since 29 Jan from which point on he was tactically played more defiensively without the Fernandinho cover provided to him to get forward

Against Stoke, who have six points in 13 away matches and simply don't perform away from their Windy home, I think the price is value

Bet placed

Bet placed, its reference is 272/293

Bet ref: 272/293 £25.00 Single
Market   Selection   Price   Hcp
Manchester City v Stoke City
Score Anytime
   Toure, Yaya    15/8
Total stake   £ 25.00
Estimated return   £ 71.88
Full stake   £ 25.00
Full estimated return   £ 71.88

Victor Dubuisson 8/5 with Beirfart sportsbook can be arbed with Jokorl if any one wants - I think Fred should stick £20 on.

edit Golf matchplay for the uninitiated

well done tikay

Beirfart sportsbook are now scared of Dubuisson........ so have gone a best price of McDowell at 8/11.  They are also best price Ousthuizen 11/8 Fowler 11/10 and Speith 8/15....

I know you hate yankees but surely on this auspicious day 11 x £5?

        Els v Spieth
            Jordan Spieth
            J Spieth v E Els
            8/15
        Oosthuizen v Day
            Louis Oosthuizen
            J Day v L Oosthuizen
            11/8
        Furyk v Fowler
            Rickie Fowler
            J Furyk v R Fowler
            11/10
        McDowell v Dubuisson
            Graeme McDowell
            G McDowell v V Dubuisson
            8/11
        Yankee (£5.00 x 11)

        Bet Ref: O/0140260/0000015
        £317.90

Total Stake: £55.00

this is fun.

Final opportunity for a winner in Sochi.

Saturday is the men's slalom.

http://www.oddschecker.com/winter-olympics/alpine-skiing/olympic-alpine-skiing-mens-slalom/winner

This World Cup season has been a three way battle between Hirscher, Kristofferson & Neureuther.

Hirscher, Austrian favourite, but not quite as unbeatable as previous years. WC results: 1, DNQ, 2, 1, 3, 23, 2.

Kristofferson, young Norwegian. Future star. WC results: 3, 14, 7, 3, 15, 2, 1.

Felix Neureuther. German star. WC results: 27, 10 1, DNF, 2, 1, 3.

I'm looking at getting behind Felix. Last week on his trip to the airport for his flight to Sochi his car was in a crash & he suffered whiplash injuries. However he competed in the GS on wednesday & finished 8th, about average for him. Reports in the German press are positive, that he's recovered & went well in training today. A slalom specialist who this season normally starts around 3/1 - 7/4 with the bookies. 5/1 available & a couple of points of value.

has this happened please?

Crystal Palace v Manchester United

The late game is an interesting one with Crystal Palace extremely solid at home under Pulis though of course a lot of narrow wins have been achieved against bottom ten sides. Tom Ince and Joe Ledley look excellent signings and with Manchester United having only won two Premier League games in 2014 we have to at least consider backing Crystal Palace at a whopping 11/2 for this game.

Manchester United also have a Champions League clash in Greece against Olympiacos on Tuesday night to consider and team selection may be influenced by that. Which is the more important game for Manchester United? Europe, possibly the only route back into the Champions League this season, or the league game, with United in seventh well adrift of the top four? I am not sure, but won't be rushing into Manchester United at 8/13.

Lets take a speculative view on Crystal Palace at 11/2 with BetVictor
