"It's been interesting the way it's moved since last Monday when we had our last rainfall," Claisse said. "We were soft last Tuesday, we went to good-to-soft yesterday [Saturday] and we've stayed there. The top will dry out quite quickly but there's still a lot of moisture in there, so I'm calling both chase and hurdle tracks good-to-soft. If there's any way Claisse will be able to get away with calling it good to soft, he'll call it good to soft. And he'll tell everyone it's like a carpet, or some such. COTCs think that's what everyone wants to hear. Good ground still a channer though.

I was going to put Joe Garner up as an addition to the League One Golden Boot portfolio @ 14-1. He's only two off Britt in a congested list, is fresher than most and the main man for a team chasing autmoatic promotion. However, he's on eight yellows, so only two off a couple-of-match ban, and it's hard to rec 14-1 when Satan Jams had 25-1 until a few minutes ago (max £25 enough to force them down to 12-1).

I've just backed Burton @ 20-1 for League Two. None of the top three are much cop and Burton are only three points off top spot. They have a couple of winable games this week, away at Pompey and home to AFC Wombles, and have the potential to be much shorter by the time they play Scunny.

Rec £20 Burton, 22-1 Satan, or 20-1 356/Betaway also fine.
