Appears like £50.50 (each way too) max on each bizarrely. Gl tikay. Will my account survive betting them all at various stakes? Any particularly worth laying?
That means Tikay can get £5.05 on each which is above the new minimum!
To answer your question, I expect backing them all is pretty risky, I am sure a couple of people mentioned in the summer they had been restricted after taking up offers there.
It's been said many times before, I quite enjoyed Neil's Oscars rant about them too, but it has to be said again, Ladbrokes are a joke of a business. They just issue profit warning after profit warning and they seriously need to look at their business plan.
Nice big advert on page 13 of the Racing Post and nice big banner on their website 'Best Price the favourite in all 27 Cheltenham Races 9am-10am today'.
I had planned to visit a shop or two (they closed my account without telling me after 20 years and still have my photo on their site winning their Poker Million trophy) but then I spoke to a friend of mine just after 9am. He is just a punter and has no restrictions on his account. Put the first one in £50 bet accepted, 2nd one £50 bet accepted, 3rd one max £33, 4th and thereafter max bet a fiver and account is now restricted. They put the promo up and spend a lot of money advertising it and then when people, regular punters, back the promo they get restricted and lose the ability to use their accounts. Way to go Ladbrokes, I hope your shareholders are proud of you.
Anyway I was annoyed so I walked around 5 Ladbrokes shops with my pal in West London and maxed then all. I feel better knowing that I have about £5000 in bets on Ladbrokes that I can arb them all if I wanted too (I won't though). Makes me feel better.
Here is another act of their stupidity:
Ladbrokes World Hurdle Betting Odds
http://www.oddschecker.com/cheltenham-festival/world-hurdle/winner
They sponsor a race at the biggest racing festival in the calendar and have a perfect spot to showcase their event and they are not best price about a single runner! Worst prices on everything!
Will the last person out of Ladbrokes please turn out the light.

8/13 Winnall for League Two golden bootage (Skyrofflers, Satan) won't last long.
Hogan's injury is not as bad as first feared but it's likely he'll miss a few games. Think 3six5's prices are correct here.

Seems they knew I was placing it for Tikay
Hi Richard,
Yeeeeee-haw, it seems congratulations are in order. You either possess notable hacking skills or you've just got a few quid back from us.
Anyway, here's the deal - our Brian O'Driscoll Goodwill Gesture Money-Back Special has clicked which means that we've put real cash back into your pocket,
or manbag
, or whatever the hipsters carry these days.
Bugger, we've been rumbled.

I think I'll swerve those.
Just can't risk further damage to my Lads Account.

I'm pretty sure Tikay will never overcome his blindspot to betting multiples but the Ladbrokes 9am-10am offer is a good example of where you can have good multiples.
The reason we should generally be wary of multiples is that all bets (theoretically) have an inherent advantage to the bookmaker (the overound) and we are multiplying that advantage.
We can have good multiples when we can be 100% sure the advantage is with us, the problem is lot of measurement of who has the edge is subjective.
The one exception is in UNDEROUND or OVERBROKE books where the bookmaker has a -ve advantage. If we can find these and multiply them together we will have a way bigger edge than doing them in singles. We will, of course, increase variance so we need to stake carefully to fit our bankroll, but that is another story.
Every horse that Ladbrokes enhanced was -ev to them and +ev to us as witnessed by the Betfair prices. Therefore multiples would be great.
Even Ladbrokes figured this out and the promotion was limited to singles only. No multiples.
When Ladbrokes are refusing multiples from you then you know they are great bets.
Just trying to break through...
I hear you..
I say, I HEAR YOU......
You've explained my obduracy, & also the reasons. But then found a nice curve-ball.
As I said a few days ago, I promised to give the Multiples & Accas a go, but none have been put up yet.
When they are, if they pass the +ev Test (as above), we'lll give them a go.

"It's been interesting the way it's moved since last Monday when we had our last rainfall," Claisse said. "We were soft last Tuesday, we went to good-to-soft yesterday [Saturday] and we've stayed there. The top will dry out quite quickly but there's still a lot of moisture in there, so I'm calling both chase and hurdle tracks good-to-soft. There's a little bit of soft in it and a bit of ground coming down the hill on the Old Course that's getting closer to good, so we'll be good in places some time tomorrow and
maybe by Tuesday we'll go the other way
.
Come on the sun
Reading between the lines, I'm so glad we "saved" on Good to Soft.
Incredible bet from Chomps, (Good going), the only caveat being it seems to me we'd need it Firm before they'd releuctantly describe it as Good.
There'll be some F5-ing in the morning, even so. We have a chance.
There must be a pun somewhere.
When the going gets Good.......

Poshies v Brizzle City tomorrow night.
Both teams need the points for different reasons and both are way better going forward than defending.
Brizzle have Sam Baldock and JET, both linked with Poshies at one time, taking on our fragile back line, and we have Britt, Ajose and Washington going at a back line that's conceded 58 in 35 matches.
This game usually produces goals. Posh won 4-2 at the weekend, Brizzle won 3-2.
Rec £20 over 4.5 goals @ 5-1 Hillies
Rec £10 over 5.5 goals @ 13-1 BMU
Excellent, we can recover our Cheltenham Day One losses if Brizzle win this 6-0.
We had both bets with BMU, as per the subsequent Ommy Post.
Peterborough United v Bristol CityOver 5.5 (Total Goals - Over/Under 5.5 - 90 Mins)Odds: 13/1 Stake: 10.00Possible Return: 140.00
Peterborough United v Bristol CityOver 4.5 (Total Goals - Over/Under 4.5 - 90 Mins)Odds: 11/2 Stake: 20.00Possible Return: 130.00
2 BETS PLACED
