Man City have 9 games remaining, those of which include weak teams such as Arsenal, Sunderland, West Brom, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, West Ham. Tougher games are Everton, Liverpool and Southampton,

Arsenal? 4th one place behind City....you can't put them in the same bracket as the other "weak" teams, surely!

When is Aguero scheduled to be back?

Please post this on arsenal thread to get Adz on tilt!!!!

Might as a well inform him that AW has all but confirmed he is staying on too.

Well, he was never gonna cook the Golden Goose was he now!

My fault i put them up relatively late on Fred.  Forgot Thurs you are usually in the Studio busy around 5pm.  We were never on for the crown jewels as the first one went south in style so the big multi pay day was foiled early.  Marky147 nearly won the world though so it will keep him in punting tokens for a while!

No worries, but in better news, I've not got any more Thursday Shows until May at the earliest now.

I do have a "Grand National Betting Preview" jobbie next Tuesday, though. Wink

Marky got the lot? What, again?

The "Next Manager" markets will get a hammering this morning, then.

Arbboy,

Thanks for the darts bets the last two weeks. Too good. I wonder how long before the bookies catch on and reduce the price on the draw.

As the only time I have been results orientated is to do with my team and you lost on them, I'm not quite sure how cool that makes you look Mr Arboy!

They have contracted slightly recently but nothing major.  It's just a case of firms always willing to lay the outcome because the 'race by race' tv punters never bet the draw and i am pretty sure the firms win on a game when it is a draw.  Obviously we have run well this year compared to previous years but this also is in line with the matches becoming best of 12 and not 14 which statistically makes the draw more likely but the firms haven't really adjusted their prices in line with this.

Unfortunately the keyword was 'almost', but it made me a little happier after completely missing last week.

I'm steering clear of the Forest/Pompey coups, because I haven't got any time to put in, and I'll get more pleasure firing bullets at Aintree!

Early spot from next week's darts matches from the early moves.  It's the final week before relegation of two players.  Whitlock is gone for sure and one spot remains between Newton, Chiz and Thornton.  An interesting 'bent' draw opportunity might arise here if Taylor beats Thornton then Chiz and Newton will both qualify for the final stages with the draw assuming the tie breaker for equal points is leg difference (wiki link below states this is the case but obviously this is not 100% trustworthy).  I am not 100% sure on the order of play yet but obviously if Taylor/Thornton play first then this will affect the thinking of the other two.

Also I am pretty sure looking at the table that if Taylor and Thornton draw they will also both be safe as well whatever the Newton Chiz game ends.

If Thornton beats Taylor then Newton can only stay up by beating Chiz and this will end up with Chiz being relegated.

The market seems to have cottened onto the Chiz Newton draw as its been backed into 3/1.  However the same situation seems to apply for the Taylor game as well.  The only downside of Taylor playing for a draw is he is much more likely to be looking for a win for a top 4 finish than the other 3 players who, with all due respect, will just be happy to make the final 8 and pick up another round of appearance money from the second half of the season.

Does anyone know where we can get a confirmed order of play for next week as order of play in these bets is important.

This is the wiki link for the schedule. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_Premier_League_Darts#3_April. No idea if this order of play is accurate.

Unfortunately we have a couple of stale positions on for Malaysia. Had a chance to miss these by cogitating until after FP 1/2, but thats the way it goes

http://www1.skysports.com/f1/news/12479/9236221/jenson-button-admits-lots-of-work-to-do-for-mclaren-after-trailing-rivals-in-malaysia

good thing is it could/should rain/be cooler
