Agreed.
United league home form is incredibly, W6 L6 and Villas away form is W4 L5. That's nearly a flip!
Added to this is the Champions League game for United in midweek so talk is that Buttner will play this weekend instead of Evra (who is suspended in Europe) to give him gametime. RVP out, Smalling and Evans doubts.
I'll be doing a combination of laying United and backing Villa outright.

a little less value than Vlla, but is anyone taking odds on Swansea and West Brom at home this weekend?

Swansea are 4/5 v Norwich

West Brom 5/6 v Cardiff

Of course both away teams are no great shakes, but all 4 teams are bottom six and I was surprised to see the two home teams so short.

I thought both home teams were lays at the prices meaning we'd have the draws onside.

Opinions?

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/top-goalscorer-w-o-suarez

Top goalscorer market without Suarez.

Sturridge is rightfully? a very short 1/6.

The next 2 in the market are what interest me, Toure 8/1, Aguero 10/1.

Each way is top 2, 1/3 odds.

Man City have 9 games remaining, those of which include weak teams such as Arsenal, Sunderland, West Brom, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, West Ham. Tougher games are Everton, Liverpool and Southampton,

Liverpool have 7 games remaining, they are Tottenham, West Ham, Man City, Norwich, Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Newcastle.

I think it seems ok to take on Sturridge in this spot, maybe betting both Toure and Aguero, or selecting one of them to take advantage of what look generous each way terms.

If selecting one, note that Aguero is injured for this weekends game vs Arsenal.
Toure plays every game, Aguero will possibly have to rotate with Negredo and Dzeko when he is fully fit anyway.

Toure has the big game experience and has done this before, surely he will have some more goals in him.
Liverpool/Sturridge haven't been in this position for a long time/ever, will they crack under the pressure?

If I have worked it out correctly and if you bet both, should either win, very good.
If Sturridge wins and Toure finishes second, you will lose a very small amount.
If Sturridge wins and Aguero finishes second, you will win a small amount.

Thoughts?

No thoughts on a good bet from this?

when is aguero due back?

sturridge has 20

toure 17

toure is on pens

man c have 9 games, liverpool 7

they play each other

Toure 17 goals in 27 league games=0.62 goals per appearance

Sturridge 20 goals in 21+2 league games = 0.86 goals per appearance

On the bare figures Yaya won't catch him

Sturridge will score another 6 on the 23 game sample incidence

Yaya will score another 5-6 on the 27 game sample

I think Aguero will be available next week but doubt he will be in the first XI. Probably start from the bench and come on sometime in the match.

Both too short esp Swansea I don't get why no rwich and Hughton have had so much heat this year! Think they have done pretty much what they should have done. Make the game a flip on neutral ground so Swansea should def be odds against in this spot IMO

Aguero missing arsenal game.
Don't know when he's back but his price drifted to 16s.
Toure surely a great each way bet in this case?

So we get 2.66/1 the place 8/1 1/3 (1,2)

How long is Aguero out for?

If its longer than this weekend Yaya looks like an each way bet with a shot to nothing at a Sturridge injury, for example

Hazard has 14, might he catch Yaya for 2nd........

Think Villa look a really good bet too.  In fact I would be fairly surprised if you couldn't just oppose United for the rest of the season and profit.  They are too old generally and now Moyes is past the point of being able to make a statement and drop the influential players.

Im not seeing an E/W option with BetVictor and without that i dont think i could back Yaya although aguero could be a back once he comes back depending on price if he drifts further.

India beat Bang and qualify for the T20WCSF's

Australia need to thrash India and Bang to have a chance to qualify

Pak v WI on tuesday is winner through, in effect. we have Pakistan, and WI bowlers

In the other group SL v NZ is a quarter final, in effect. we have both, though NZ is a free bet so we prefer SL to win

It is looking like

Sri Lanka v WI/Pak

India v South Africa

in the semis

though I am sure there will be a surprise or two over the next four days

Ok seems a fair bit of warmth (as Tikay would say) for my Villa suggestion.

Suggest £25 on Villa@15-2 with bmu.
