A winner at last, Sterling City wins at Meydan.

Excellent, and in what otherwise seems to be a sea of red, Stoke lead Hull 1-0.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

Soon, we shall be rich, beyond our wildest dreams, and chirping like Dan Bilzerian.

Bleugh, Callum Wilson scoring two isn't good for Britt, puts him two ahead of Assomba.

Something of a future bet in play opportunity. If the value looks good, which it probably should be with punters backing the big guns and Palace take the lead at home against either Liverpool or Man City, back Palace to maintain the lead. Every time this season under Pulis that when he has taken the lead (7 times) he has won, only conceding once in one of those in the 3-1 win against WBA.

Aside from one Hazard chance in the second half that Speroni saved very well, Palace looked quite comfortable and had a host of chances to make it 2-0.

Not sure of the sample size but this looked a good bet.  Palace could have won by 3 or 4.

Basic lesson today for all punters mate of mine had 200 quid on 0-0 today in the palace match and didn't back no goal scorer. Cost him 2400 quid.  Doesn't happen very often 1-0 with an own goal. Very expensive mistake when it does happen though

Yes the kid runs bad although it's about the only thing he has done wrong recently. It's tough on bf though because 0-0 got bundles of liquidity but no goal scorer in first scorer market has literally none so if you are a bf punter it's hard to get lumps on at the right price in the right market

Good shop that one btw. Laid me two £200 bets without even a PTL.

Just have to open the door in most London shops and they are on the bleedin' phone.

They now have £400 they didn't have before.

A small quiet Ladbrokes shop laid me £400 ( not all for me ) at 25/1 without PTL today. No idea why. The trading principals for that shop say anything over £50 over 3/1 with early prices require PTL.

The cashier said ' is that definite '
I thought she meant did I definitely want the bet
I said ' yes please '

She took the bet and gave me the slip back

She said ' it's definitely going to win ? '
I said ' no, it's a 25/1 shot '
Her ' so you just fancy it ? '
Me ' yes '
Her ' you're putting £400 on something you just fancy ?
Now I really don't want this conversation. I'm very busy and I really need to stay under the radar.
Me ' yes basically '
Her ' have you had a tip ? '
Me ' no '
Her ' ah, I know you follow this horse and have bet on it before ? '
Me ' no '
Her ' shall I back it ? '
Me ' why don't you have a pound on it '
Her ' ok, good luck '
Me ' good luck, bye '
Phew

Halfway point of the JLD fight and so far so good.  It's been a shutout for JLD so far and he seems happy controlling things at distance without getting too involved and Dawson hasn't been in any trouble at all so far.  Only danger is Dawson's tank emptying.

Sounds like an old school betting shop to me where staff actually have a bet rather than just empty roulette machines!
