I think 10/1 Gerrard is not a bad shout. If Liverpool don't win the league, the bet is probably dead in the water, mind.
Aaron's point is a decent one, but Gerrard will be the one holding the trophy in all the front pages, all the articles will be about how he could have gone to a
bigger
another club five years ago and choose to stay with his home town club etc.
Would he retire if they were to win the league (conquered it all, and all that)? This would obviously help the bet.
FYP xx
nah he was right the first time. could've left post-Istanbul and actually won league titles etc

SPOTY
Not gonna make a recommend, far too risky in current climate, but thoughts please.
1, Stevie G. The juice has been sucked out in the last 24 hours but 10-1. Still rather be late to the party than miss the party. If Pool win the titile the Scousers will be out in their masses to vote for their idol. No one has any expectations of us doing at all well in the WC, so any half decent showing on top of that or a couple of goals from him, also gives you a second bite of the cherry.
2, Mo Farrah. Seemingly overlooked last couple of years despite some amazing achievements, which has surprised me. You can draw all manner of conclusions. However, this is somewhat tenuous but may have some substance. In two weeks time is the London Marathon. I go up with a few mates every other year, yesterday we tried to book the coach(Nat Exp). Every bus is full from 4am. Never happened before, so one suspects the following he has generated for this is massive. If he wins, surely he must podium this year. 25-1 ew?
Thoughts anyone?
Two interesting thoughts there Adzy.
Stevie G - the price seems way too skinny to me. Get your drift, though.
Mo. At that price, much more interesting. He's quite a folk hero these days, nicely understated, with great humility. The public love humility from the sporting greats. Think he'd be a winner by omission though, in the absence of any sparkling performance by another Sportsperson. 25/1 is interesting, though, especially EW, he must have great EW chances. As would - say - a Brit golfer winning The Masters &/or The Open.

Daily Report
Loss on Month £1053.32
Outstanding Bets £3910.44
Free Bets to Use ONE William Hill by 5th April
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&usp=drive_web#gid=22
A profit of £150 yesterday with two winners. Peterborough winning the Johnstones Paint for £220 in our first ante-post football winner of the season and Worcester winning at Newcastle for £36, at nearly 2/1 underdogs
Losers. Swanson did not score at Wembley -£30, the McLarens scored points but did not podiate in Malaysia -£31 and the Arizona Wldcats lost in the NCAA Quarters -£40. In addition the £4 bet on Villareal to finish top of La Liga minus the big two was taken as a loss after Villareal's 1-1 draw last night confirmed they could not catch Atletico Madrid
Yesterday then
Liverpool's 4-0 victory over Spurs took them to the top of the table and brings that £195 lay firmly into view. In better news Suarez scored again and with 29 for the season the figures are quite startling
Everton beating Fulham maintains faint hopes for the Everton title bet, and makes the Crystal Palace to finish bottom bet even elss likely
A good day for our long term F1 bets with Mercedes first GP 1-2 since 1955 and Hamilton winning. They should continue to make hay until the rest of the field catches up. Once the Red Bull does, watch out as the chassis looks uber quick, but the Renault power-train is currently inferior to the Mercedes
Napoli beat Juventus last night to consolidate their third place in La Liga, 12 points clear of Fiorentina in 4th. The small Napoli each way bet should be a winner, the much larger Fiorentina bets losers
In the T20WC India were confirmed as Dhaka group winners and Pakistan beat the hosts to go into a winner goes through match with the West Indies tomorrow. We have Pakistan. Unfortunately Finch failed for the disappointing Australians, scoring 6, and they have one game left tomorrow.
In the other group Sri Lanka play New Zealand today, winners go through

Choral are 14/1, that price fine.
Need to get on today, as Poshies are not on league duty, while MK Frauds play Wolves, and Swindon go up against tired no-channers Sheff Utd.
hope you didn't get a bet on them Sheffield United, would have done your nuts in
Nah, left them well alone after you posted how they're running on fumes. Saved me a right few quid there, ty sir. Please post more.

That's the goal Horsey was trying to post, and a fair goal it is!
He might even get a game for the mighty Posh <3

What's this nonsense I am reading about FIFA forcing teams to play in all light colours or all dark colours at the World Cup? (eg Argentina and Germany can't wear black shorts).
Hopefully this is a joke.

Chompy getting his deserved rewards for the Posh coup. He used to support them, too, before switching allegiance to MK Dons. Defection of the Century.

Speak up now, or forever hold your peace.......
Some folks very kindly put various bets on for Fred in March, & I want to settle up today, as it is the last day of the month.
If only I could remember who they were, & how much I owe.......
These names spring to mind.....
Lisa (sonour), I deffo owe money to.
Markey Degen Marky. I'm generally in debt to him.
Tighty (£10 with £3.65 or PP for something?).
Nick Jenkins, maybe?
Chompy
Anyone else?
Please drop me a PM with reminders, & Bank Details where necessary, & I'll settle up.
Also, all those who owe money to ME for winning bets, pay up.*
* If only there were any.
