So yesterday was fantastic. Dundee FC are champions.
Don't know if anyone was following it but if Dundee had drawn (they won 2-1) then Hamilton had to win by 8 goals to win league - they won 10-2!!!! Our keeper made a worldie save in last minute.

Amazing, what a thing that would have been.

gotta put one up in the 2.05 at newmarket cus its a monster price and i think its a good 15lbs better than its mark. Miss Marjurie 25/1 general 33/1 at ladbrokes. I did a lot of speed figure work towards the backend of last year. Basicailly i would find a benchmark race over a course and distance and going, then replay the races in tandom with the benchmark to see if they went off too fast or too slow a gallop. I would then take out the anomolys. I.E the one that stuck up with them on a frenetic gallop while the other front runners wilted. Or alternately when a horse is staying on into a place when the rest of the hold up horses never got into it. I had tremendous sucess, as claypole can confirm, last year by following ones i noted down, usually next time out. Ive stopped doing this now as im 100% commited to poker and this analysis is very time consuming. And basically becuase for me, there is more money in poker. Anyhow, some of my noted horses are yet to run since i noted them down and this is one of them. Miss marjurie had impressed me greatly when winning at lingfield over 10f and even more so when it stuck on gamely over 10f again over todays track when they went an absolute dordle. Came out very highly on my ratings and she has her ground tomorrow. Yes this race is tough and shes not guaranteed to stay on pedigree but at 33/1 im willing to take a decent plunge and luke morris seems a great booking. Not saying lump on but an e/w bet might be a good idea, has run well fresh both times shes tried.
Great work Sir. Post more please.

I'll do you the other fiver, if you want it?
Thanks Marky.
Send me a PM with my indebtedness please, and I will settle you up. That should get you out of it for this weekend, and most of next week, too.....
£5 Vorda, @ 33/1, 1,000 Guineas, via Marky.
ON
Better get a ruling on this. Just checked the spreadsheet and thought I am sure I have a fiver on for Tikay on Vorda. If you go back on this thread, you can see that in addition to Marky's bet, there is a fiver through me and 30p direct.
They are all declared on thread, but not on the spreadsheet.
Horse is about 16/1 on Betfair for tomorrow.
Thanks for spotting this, Doobs.
We have a nice little sweat now.

do we really think Selby will get within 4.5 frames of Ronnie and lose (or win) by 18-14 or less?
http://www.oddschecker.com/snooker/world-championship/ronnie-osullivan-v-mark-selby/handicaps
Selby is a granite match-player but his final was beating Robertson, surely?
How on earth is he going to compete for four sessions after that semi?
That was a magnificent Semi-Final, imo, tremendous character by both players.
I don't think there is a player alive who can get within 5 frames of Ronnie over a 33 frame affair.
I'm not a snooker expert by any means, but I think Ronnie will crush if the real Ronnie turns up.
did you not want the evens -4.5 ronnie ladbrokes or betfred?
i like it, for the reasons you do
Me?
Yes please, can you place that bet?
O'Sullivan, R v Selby, M
Handicap Result +4.5
O'Sullivan, R EVS -4.5
Total stake £ 50.00
Estimated return £ 100.00
Great start by Ronnie, 3-0.
