Reveal, please - I cheated, & had a look!
I cheated had a max lump on and the price is still there. I assume Neil also had the max on. Quite a fair bet they laid as well. Don't understand why they are so opinionated on these things.

James Knight @jamesaknight 5m
Horrible programme of races for the #Scoop6. They have made it virtually impossible to win this week
Betfair goes 11/8 no for tomorrow?
is this not a bet?
wait for the tote to price again as i said above
think they will be bigger

agree with this. Given they were 13/8 last weekend and this weekend's must be harder as no short priced jollys in any races would be pretty sure totesport will go much bigger than bf's 11/8 offer.

Virtually impossible? Love a bit of hyperbole in the morning. Looks like some numbers fun to work out the correct price for someone. Must be harder than last week obv.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

I'm guessing this is a BIGGIE - £10, maybe even £15.

Scoop six tote go evens no so betfair better
My only worry on golf would be every preview i read for any event or any in running thing always says how hard it is to follow a good round or an excellent one with a steady one.
Having said that can see the appeal

I would normally agree with that horsey, but I think its just as much to do with who he is up against that makes it so juicy. Good old darren struggles to break 74 anywhere these days, and ted Potter who?
No doubt this will bite me at somewhere approaching mid evening I suspect!

I had a decent bet at evens but I would have bet it at 4/5 I think. If I laid 4/7 I think I might be questioning myself as to whether it was a mistake.
They are now 20/21 and I had another bet at that price which did not cause a change. I also asked a few other people to get me evens earlier and some did.
The exchange price is 1.76 - 1.9 in a very thin market. About 30 minutes ago someone was asking for 1.83 in some size.
I agree that there could be a mental let-down after an amazing round, I would imagine you may struggle to sleep, could be buzzing, have to do triple the number of interviews, deal with more family and friends contacting, have higher personal expectations.
Having said all of that you would struggle to see the other two massively improving on their 1st round score and 74 could easily win the 3-ball.
I think it's all very strange. A friend of mine is an arber. He has won loads from betting-shops over the years but his Betfair account is losing about £25,000. He is quite selective and plays pretty small so his commission is about 3.8%. He only just discovered Betfair fixed odds. He has placed around 50 bets with them totalling £5,000 in stakes. He has NEVER had any kind of return...not even a place on an each-way bet. He says he has had maybe two bad ew bets. He is losing £5,000. His Sportsbook account has been set to ZERO on horses. I gave him a guy to speak with to appeal the decision and they told him they would look at it. They concluded that they don't want his business and said the two words that sum up everything wrong in the current industry...
"traders decision".
