When is manager of the year announced?

As soon as Pulis has something which isn't from the Club Shop to wear to the ceremony.

Cheers again peeps. One comment on Gayle, as he should get some sort of focus tonight on MOTD.

He is an instinctive finisher, quick, and just generally a capable firecracker of a forward who you love to have up front as he just always seemingly has a goal in him. His away goal against Villa in the dying minutes to win the game comes to mind in particular.

However, Jerome's gameplay in our system of playing 4-2-3-1 is a better fit whereas Gayle is probably a slight detriment to it. As Jerome has just as much pace, but is stronger and can hold the ball up better. In the counter attacking, non-possession style football we play (lol), Jerome provides respite taking down huge punts from defense, holding it up and bringing Bolasie and Puncheon into play. Whereas, Gayle was nowhere near as effective doing this. This means our defense is under even more pressure. Jerome hardly scores though and Gayle has had hardly any time to try and make that position his own to compete properly for the position. He could potentially become a better holder of the ball if given more gametime.

Something for Pulis to think about, but I am just not sure that Gayle will thrive at Palace under Pulis next season, as i am not sure he will be given a starting berth in our system. Which would be really disappointing but oddly understandable if his goals only bring more goals conceded against us from the cracks of a more tiring defense.

Justin rose just got two shots back five mins before round starts so goes off at -7. Really fucks up my overnight place bets i put on as he will surely come top 10. One bookie still showing at 125/1 him to win it. Reckon it would be gg account if someone pounced?

This has got to be right up there as 'loltrader decision of the year' award.  Going 20 spots bigger than bf Man City and offering 1/4 123 ew on next year's epl outright market.

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/tottenham/top-league-goalscorer

Soldado, 5 goals from 18 games.
Adebayor 3 goals from 5 games.

Adebayor, who it seems is going to get lots of games now with Sherwood the new manager.

Adebayor is 7/2 to be Tottenhams top league goal scorer, Soldado is 1/3.

Surely these odds are completely wrong and Adebayor is value?

£50 on Adebayor!

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/top-goalscorer-w-o-suarez

Top goalscorer market without Suarez.

Sturridge is rightfully? a very short 1/6.

The next 2 in the market are what interest me, Toure 8/1, Aguero 10/1.

Each way is top 2, 1/3 odds.

Man City have 9 games remaining, those of which include weak teams such as Arsenal, Sunderland, West Brom, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, West Ham. Tougher games are Everton, Liverpool and Southampton,

Liverpool have 7 games remaining, they are Tottenham, West Ham, Man City, Norwich, Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Newcastle.

I think it seems ok to take on Sturridge in this spot, maybe betting both Toure and Aguero, or selecting one of them to take advantage of what look generous each way terms.

If selecting one, note that Aguero is injured for this weekends game vs Arsenal.
Toure plays every game, Aguero will possibly have to rotate with Negredo and Dzeko when he is fully fit anyway.

Toure has the big game experience and has done this before, surely he will have some more goals in him.
Liverpool/Sturridge haven't been in this position for a long time/ever, will they crack under the pressure?

If I have worked it out correctly and if you bet both, should either win, very good.
If Sturridge wins and Toure finishes second, you will lose a very small amount.
If Sturridge wins and Aguero finishes second, you will win a small amount.

Thoughts?

Booo, didn't manage to catch Sturridge for outright win, oh well.

Stoke have 3 remaining away games of 7 fixtures, Chelsea, Cardiff and West Brom. They face Hull, Newcastle, Tottenham and Fulham at home.

Aston Villa have 5 remaining away games of 8 fixtures, Man U, Crystal Palace, Swansea, Man City, Tottenham. They face Fulham, Southampton and Hull at home.

Stoke already lead Aston Villa by 3 points, although Villa do have a game in hand.

Stoke play 3 teams ahead of them in the table, 2 of them are at home.

Aston Villa play 4 teams ahead of them in the table, 1 at home.

Stoke are as low as 4/6 but a very nice 7/5 with Cral.

Of course, nothing the bookies don't already know I guess, but one standout price, I've had a bet.

Easy.
