So, you're getting married. As the photos are being taken, the local NFL quarterback wanders past. "Any chance of a photo, Andrew?"

True story!

This is Indianapolis Colts QB, Andrew Luck.

Take your titfer off, son!

Crikey, never realised he was that tall. (6'-4" according to Mr Wiki).

Vanessa Selbst confirmed for One Drop, I havent used ladbrokes for an age and they just let me have £50 at 66/1.....must get on at that price I think.

Reccomend £50 at 66/1

Having a look at the main event prices and Jeff Kimber is 1000-1 to win the main event. What do you think Jaffa? Any inside info for us? Do I win this tournament 1 n 1000 times? No pressure, just to us your playing before I have a punt.

England - ENG Who Will Start In Goal For Englands First World Cup Match - Outright
Joe Hart1/8
Fraser Forster10/1
Ben Foster16/1
John Ruddy20/1
Any Other Goalkeeper33/1

Currently available at VC.  Redarmi said to me this afternoon 'Surely hart is value with coral at 1/20 to start the first game?' Would suggest we probably have £160 on this at 1/8.  Does he really only start the first match 89% of the time?  Does he get injured 11% of the time in the next 3 weeks.

They really have Forster over Foster?!
1/8 is great for those with deep pockets, not sure it's worth my usual score

Forster definitely second choice over Foster

For Fred, with a notional £3,000 'roll, £800 to win £100 or £300 to win £37 is not a bet in a million years, but for those with bigger bankrolls, it makes perfect sense.

notional roll was £3000 and profits are £2700, roll is really £5700, so i think the days of £150 maxes should really be behind us

An opinion poll in tomorrows guardian shows the conservative party 1 percent ahead if skip and 3 ahead of Labour for the European elections. 25/1 with padraig would appear good value on the conservatives to win most says. Just been chopped by hills. 20/1 available at the ok corall

i don't think you've had a bet on the thread before, so by tradition....

Daily Report

Profit on Month £70.35

Outstanding Bets £2281.70

Free bets £20 William Hill £25 Betfred

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&usp=drive_web#gid=24

A profit of £5 yesterday

- Rosol beat Fognini  in straight sets to accelerate the dripping tap with another £30

- Ben Foster selected for the World Cup squad at 1/2 -£5 profit

Loser

Aljamaheer NR for York -£30

A fairly miserable day for the long term portfolio

-In the NBA the San Antonio Spurs lost to Portland 103-92 but still lead their series 3-1

- The Miami Heat beat the Brooklyn Nets 102-96 to lead their series 3-1, and we are about to say goodbye to the Nets position, the oldest in the book

- In the MLB the Orioles lost to the Tigers but the Yankees lost too 9-7 in the NYC derby to the Mets. Every Yankees loss is a double whammy for us, short on wins and not wanting them to win the AL East for the Orioles bet

- In cricket, still no form from Laurie Evans of Warwickshire, dismissed for 14 yesterday. Derbyshire were put in on a green top in Derby, dismissed for 112 with Madsen scoring only 14. Linley took two wickets for the Surrey underperformers.

- Sunrisers Hyderabad had a headscratching loss at home to Mumbai with Aaron Finch, normally so destructive, taking 68 balls to score 62 in a match losing knock. Mumbai knocked off the 155 which should have been 185 easily

Lebron scored 49 yes 49 out of the 102 points in the Miami game and missed a free throw at the end to get 50 which would have been his highest total in the playoffs for miami.

I don't mind us upping it when the occasion demands, we already do when we see fit, it is a guideline rather than a hard & fixed amount.

I'm not sure I agree with your logic though - we have £2,000 in Forward Bets on the book. Surely that must be taken into account?

So I view it as £3,000 + £2,700 MINUS £2,000.

Yes, no?
