Looks like a few people have broken their piggy banks, they could chuck a tenner on Keane for the Celtic gig...
who do our scottish tipsters fancy for the job?
Certainly not Keane. The fella who was at Brighton last season has been touting himself.
Given how quiet Celtic have been, I think the appointment might be abit left field.

He's in from 33/1 to 8/11 in places in under 24 hours

"certainly not Keane" seems a bit strong, in the circunmstances!

Can get 4.0 for Keane on bf. Seems like a traditionally very volatile manager market.

Not really, he's been a disaster in managerial roles thus far. I was never really a fan of Lennon as manager. I loved Keane as a player but he's a c**t of a manager and a person imo. Can't see him fitting in with Celtic PLC. Also doesn't take much money to move a next manager market. Lets not forget that this time last week Larrson was 2/7.

I have to agree that on all previous evidence Keane's man-management skills are considerably less than stellar, and he would appear to lack the diplomatic skills the Celtic job demands when facing the media.
I'd be very surprised if he got given the job.

I know who I don't want, Henrik, McNamara, Coyle and Keane. Of the others quoted Moyes would be too expensive even if he wanted it, Mackay and Clarke are plausible.
Like KMac I think its time to go left field, the structure that Celtic have in place is highly effective, buy low sell high, qualify for Champs League rinse and repeat, the new man would have to be comfortable with the existing structure. We can afford to gamble as we will win the league pretty much regardless for the next God knows how many years so building something for regular CL participation and being able to challenge in the group stages is where we need to be looking.
I was hoping perhaps Murat Yakin but looks like he might go EPL, a dark horse I like the look of is Thomas Tuchel who has just left Mainz but he is probably also out of reach as he is highly regarded in Germany.
In terms of who do I think will get it no one really has a clue but if pushed I would say Malky Mackay.

Miami to win tonight against the Pacers. Any thoughts/objections?
Miami would like to finish the series tonight in order to get some rest ahead of the finals. They are better than the Pacers which they seemed frustrated after the last match. Paul George complained about the officials after the match and got fined $25k from the league.
http://www.oddschecker.com/basketball/nba/miami-heat-at-indiana-pacers/winner
5/6 or so outright
opinions? recommendation?
3-1 up, seem the better team, whats the catch?
pacers are at home
I think a bet on the handicap for Miami is better than outright. Their games against Pacers are not close when it comes to the business end. They either win by many or lose by a couple. And yes Pacers are at home and pressure is with them also.
Heat have injury doubts to key reserves Allen and Birdman. Given our ante post position and the injury doubts i would see no reason at all to back the Heat odds on on the road in a do or die game for their opponents.

Laddies have a market up for the over/under on WSOP main event entrants this year. They go:-
Over 6300.5 5/6
Under 6300.5 5/6
In the last 5 years the numbers looks like this:-
2009 - 6,494
2010 - 7,319
2011 - 6,865
2012 - 6,598
2013 - 6,352
So the line has been set like the numbers are going to basically break even with a small decline.
I think the numbers will definitely be higher than that. The $10 million guarantee is likely to attract a few more in but most importantly:-
- WSOP.com is being aggressively marketed this year. The decline in numbers over the years is down to the complete loss of online qualifiers. WSOP.com is going to start bucking that trend this year. They are guaranteeing a minimum of 93 seats to the main event, they will almost certainly generate >100.
- Full tilt money is back in the poker community - all $82 million of it. It's not all going to be shoveled into the WSOP but stables will be staking again and punters will be punting their forgotten funds.
Pokernews agrees -

All 10 of their guys they asked think the main event numbers will be higher than last year.
I know its going to be hard to get on but :-
Max bet on the over 6,300.5 at 5/6 please.
