Groves to win on points is 4/1 with Choral. For some reason they seem to want to lay this and I know a few who have been laid a few hundred on accounts that usually have some restriction which is a bit weird.
You can lay 4.7 on Betfair which even paying a full 5% is a decent arb.
Recommend £25 for Fred at 4/1 as clearly the wrong price. Having read the various opinions on here and listened to opinions I respect I think this is a better bet than just the maths in it too.
Choral have been happy to take Groves on since the fight was made. They went 2/1 then and held it for a while and have always been best price or joint best since.
They wouldn't lay me much of the 4/1 online but have been happy to lay me in shops

Two more boxing bets for Saturday night.
I'm taking on another two Matchroom fighters....
Mitchell v Maduma - Mitchell has got himself back in to title contention after being stopped by Ricky Burns two years ago. He has done it without beating anyone of note though. Maduma is relatively untested and has a 16-0 record but he looks to have the tools to trouble Mitchell who I think is pretty overrated. His fast hands mean he shouldn't have too much trouble landing on Mitchell who has flopped badly each time he has stepped up in class against Katsidis and Burns he has been stopped. Notably he said the occasion got to him when he fought Katsidis in front of his own fans at the Boleyn Ground. This is probably his last chance to get a world title shot but I think Maduma could be a bit of a nightmare for him and the 7/4 with SB is a bet. Recommend £40.
DeGale v Gonzales - This is a tough assignment for DeGale who has generally disappointed thus far in his pro career. He lost a tight decision to Groves back in 2011 and since then he hasn't really shone despite being undefeated. He has fought B level opposition and whilst at times he has looked decent, he hasn't shone the class you would expect from a Gold Medal winner. He seems to struggle to fight at a pace for a full 12 rounds and this is likely to be an issue in a closely matched fight. It's a step up for Gonzales too with his best result today being a draw with the decent South African Oosthuizen. He does have the advantage of having the excellent Virgil Hunter in his corner and being from the same stable Andre Ward. Both have decent chins and I expect this one to go to the cards. Admittedly it's not going to be easy for Gonzales to get the decision and he may have to win by the proverbial street to get the nod but the price of 9/1 is too big. Recommend £10 Gonzales by decision at 9/1 with Fred

Just saw the clips of the people in the Britain's Got Talent thing tonight before Corrie (picked Tina's killer btw
). Why does someone playing a violin need to have all that nonsense going on behind her? Flashing lights, dramatic backing music, dancers. Bet Stradivarius is looking down on that, realising he missed a trick.
Then there's Diversity in the Dark. Must be hundreds of those out there.
What a lot of bottywash.
I'm getting old.

todays darts
player/av/180s
Lewis 97.72/7 (below quote on average)
RVB 94.4/3 (below quote on average)
Whitlock 100.54/9 (above average quoted)
Chisnall 101.98/7 (above average quoted)
Taylor 91.72/3 (below quote on average)
Wright 95.55/3 (above average quoted)
MVG 101.89/6 (above average quoted)
Wade 95.4/2 (above average quoted)
was it quite still?
the unders, which i only swerved due to complications on multiples, seems a decent accidental swerve?

I don't feel so bad now, but if Van Gerwen had been a shade lower, Chisnall would have cost me my upgrade next month...
Cheers for finding those, Tighty.
