Whilst Fred's feeling wealthy & buoyed with World Cup fever.

How about some Le Mans action.

Qualifying times & grid:

1. LMP1 #7  Toyota     Wurz/Sarrazin/Nakajima             3m21.789s
 2. LMP1 #14 Porsche    Dumas/Jani/Lieb                    3m22.146s
 3. LMP1 #8  Toyota     Davidson/Lapierre/Buemi            3m22.523s
 4. LMP1 #20 Porsche    Bernhard/Webber/Hartley            3m22.908s
 5. LMP1 #3  Audi       Albuquerque/Bonanomi/Jarvis        3m23.271s
 6. LMP1 #2  Audi       Fassler/Lotterer/Treluyer          3m24.276s
 7. LMP1 #1  Audi       Di Grassi/Gene/Kristensen          3m25.814s
 8. LMP1 #12 Rebellion  Prost/Heidfeld/Beche               3m29.763s
 9. LMP1 #13 Rebellion  Kraihamer/Belicchi/Leimer          3m31.608s

Toyota have been dominant in Word Endurance racing this season & the #7 & #8 car are closely matched favourites.

Audi, winners last year, had some problems in qualifying, but will likely be on the pace.

Porsche return after 16 years away. Cars #20 #14 topped the times in wednesday qualifying. Friday qualifying saw them both on the pace but miss clear laps in the last 15 minutes under yellow flags.

http://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/le-mans-24-hour-race/le-mans-24-hour/winning-team

Laddies look out of line with 10/1 on the #20 Porsche of Bernhard/Webber. Worth chucking a tenner at imo?

restricted to a fiver, interestingly

10/1
Bernhard/Webber/Hartley
2014 Le Mans 24 Hours Le Mans 24 hour
Singles - Race Winner
1 line @ £5.00 per line
Total Stake £5.00
Potential Return £55.00
Receipt No: O/142640973/0000622

please keep us up to date throughout the 24 hours :-)

will do.

My brother is down there, I'll get him to have a word with Mr Webber to keep his foot planted!

any odds on Howard Webb being the WC Final referee?

obviously it's incredibly unlikely, but on a small sample of two, he appears to be the only referee in the competition who understands the rules...

I'm sure Redarmi won't mind me suggesting this one for Fred. We were thinking about tipping it for Betting Emporium but we decided that it was a little late in the day to add another tip and some of our followers might be hacked off if they got the message late and missed out.

Stu likes Oribe Peralta for FGS in the Mexico/Cameroon game at 5/1 (magic sign, Irish fools and BMU). The reason I was especially excited by that was because a friend of mine who does really well at FGS asked me to bet it for him this morning.

 Suggest £40.

ok done

5/1
Oribe Peralta
Mexico v Cameroon
Singles - 1st Goalscorer
1 line @ £40.00 per line
Total Stake £40.00
Potential Return £240.00
Receipt No: O/142640973/0000621
Ladbrokes

when on Ladbrokes i spotted they had RVP at 12-1 for the later game FGS, up until the first goal in the Mexico match, for those interested

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.

Anyone got any fancy's for Musselburgh races tmoro plz ?

My Old Man's up there and considering he a bigger ice cream than me any thoughts welcomed, cheers.

Got a bad draw but I thought Rasaman was worth a few bob in the first 5f race.

Stall 16, one off the stand rail, is a bad draw?

Adz this comes across as a question. A touch sarcastic perhaps but that feels fair if your going against the grain. You absolutely seem to have a chip on your shoulder about being questioned about your bets. That is exactly what happened with the scoop 6 stuff and seems to be the exact same thing today. I'm not sure if your knocking it in and have lost your confidence or something, but people should be allowed to question any bet. Admittedly, I would try to make sure not to cause any offense when I question someones bet, as the vast majority of people have more knowledge than me, but I wouldn't expect anyone in the thread to start accusing me of sniping or anything else. Furthermore, Redarmi has made a personal decision to work for bettingemporium, just as Bad Beat did when he setup the company with Joe. I don't think you can have any complaints about that. I thank anyone who posts a good bet in the thread, win or lose, whenever I can because I want to and I think they deserve it for offering up their time. I pay for Neils horseracing tips because I think they are worthwhile. Has it detracted from Fred? Yes, of course, but I have no right to demand he posts them on the forum anyway. You may choose to fire into me for this post because you perceive me to be part of a "clique" or something else, but that is simply not true. You've been causing a lot of grief in Fred over the last month or so, and seem particularly defensive. I rate all your tips, and was very keen on seeing the reasoning behind disliking a draw another elder seemed to think was good. Funnily enough, the bettingemporiums tip, one they gave out for free, has just come in. Without being results orientated, we should all be grateful for any information posted on this thread. People are so tetchy when someone disagrees with them on the internet, why does it have to be such a big deal? I'm grateful Chompy questioned you because it gave me more information, and an insight into your thought process. Keep your toys in the pram, us muggles still respect you.

If mods want to delete this, could you pm me a copy so I can send it to Adz. We all know he loves a good pm <3

Peralta! From the screams in the room next to mine, I think I might be next door to Mike Matusow!

Don't doubt it was a good bet, but that has to be the luckiest bink ever, after two legitimate goals were disallowed! Cheesy Well done, all. Love it when a plan comes together.

I'm going out now. If you could all manage to stop acting like five year olds by the time I'm back, that'd be splendid. Adz, Chompy's initial comment was no different to your challenge of my comment about Lowry the other day. We all choose how we react to challenges. And then challenges to challenges. Everything that's been posted since is so childish it's embarrassing. No one is taking their ball anywhere. If we don't work together, we risk putting money in this bloke's hands:

No one wants that.

Now can everyone stop getting shot?

Well I can see your point (though it is a BE matter, not a Fred one), but sometimes things just fall a little awkwardly, as Lord Grumpy explained here.....

Sometimes, things just fall a bit awkward, but he did explain it in advance.

Would we rather they said nothing?

We've done very well out of Neil & reds, not just in tips, but betting expertise too, right from Day One, & as far as I am concerned, they owe us nothing.

Any matters as to BE, of course, is a matter for the BE thread.

Sky refunding first/last goalscorer, scorecast and correct score bets as a free bet between £5-£25 wagered if Spain do not win, throwing it out there for the rest of you. Wouldn't mind knowing who would be a decent value tip if any can offer up one?

Difficult to win sometimes. If you prefer we'll just keep any late bets to ourselves in future.

Stu and I did consider putting the bet up for subscribers but it does involve a small amount of admin to amend the pages and enable the emails to go out to subscribers. We thought it may have been too late and a lot of customers would fail to get on. we've been very careful always with BE to only tip with firms who people should be able to easily get on with and in plenty of time. It wasn't possible this time but I did think it would be nice to pass the tip on here.

I would still like to make a decent bet at evens with anyone who doubts us that BE will win on the world cup. If you aren't happy with the service Kmac feel free to send me details of your username and email and I'll ensure we remove you from getting any future bets and issue you a full refund.
