For example

Feliciano Lopez finalled queens and lost in a high quality final to dimitrov, has just won eastbourne

so we know he is in grass court form

in dry hot weather the courts play more like hard courts than in damp slippy conditions, which suits him

in federer's quarter you can get him at 14-1

if fed is slightly on the slide (think you can argue that), and wawrinka is a bit flaky (can definitely argue that)....

in the womens, serena has been vulnerable

http://www.oddschecker.com/tennis/wimbledon/womens/womens-wimbledon/winner

someone like azarenka, has hit the semis twice, only lost at the venue to kvitova and serena?

20-1 available e/w

drawn the other side to serena and sharapova, has to get through (in theory) radwanska and li na

that half just looks wide open

we must have a ladies tennis man that could give us some wimbledon ladies ideas?

morning boyles lol trader didn't take you long to react!!!!  wpwpwpwp  Come on sign up and tell us how much you laid of fed at 6/1 before you took action.   It's only the biggest tennis event of the year surely you could have held the 6/1 for all the blonde's to get their £50 ew on at 6/1.  It's not like we are backing someone unexposed he is a 7 times champ at the place!  You have spent all week deciding on these prices as well for the biggest tennis event of the year now and after a couple of £50s ew you have to change your price.  So so bad!  Send my regards to your boss Mr Pring if he is still on the firm.

Morning Mr T2.

We don't do apologies on this thread but I think that Castleford owe us one from last week. Resting 6 players and giving no indication that they doing so until the team was announced half an hour before K.O is just wrong. Having mused it for some time I can understand their reasons though and am annoyed that I didn't see the possibility.

However today they are at St Helen's with a full squad, and no reason not to do their utmost to win. Lomax, a crucial player, is missing for St Helen's and this will really affect their offense. With Castleford's ability to score there is a good chance  of an upset here.

Suggest £20 Castleford @ 5/2 with Betfred, Sporting or Bwin.

lookat the shape of this market

anyone under 12-1 (grunty woman, serena) is in the same half

someone find me an each way bet paying 1/2 top 2 in the bottom half please

kvitova 12-1
li na 16-1
radwanska 16-1
azarenka 20-1

or an other

pick the winner of that half, and freeroll the final...

why not just have instant replay like NBA/NFL/tennis/cricket/rugby league/union to sort it?  Makes no sense and would make the whispers about games being bent be redundant by corrupt officials.  It would have taken the ref 20 seconds max to decide that wasn't offside and award the goal.  No different in time to restarting the game with a free kick for being offside.  If Blatter really wants to protect the game from corruption i just don't get why it's not in place

cause linos flag goes up whistle goes and defence stops ball goes in complaint made found to be onside can you give the goal?
or do we just scrap the lino and then only rule an offside if there is a goal? then what you do if there is 3 or 4 phases of play since the offside? if the offside was ruled then goal wouldnt of stood as defence would of gotten the ball, if you rule it out how far do you go back?

just scrap the rule open the game up give us and average of a goal or 2 more a game will make it much more intresting get rid of the bore draws

Agree too many problems with replays for offsides.  Can't lino have some speed gun type thing that looks across the pitch.  Lino then just has to look upfield and press the button when the ball is kicked and the technology tells him if there is an offside or not?

http://www.oddschecker.com/tennis/wimbledon/mens/mens-wimbledon/winner

The biggest tennis event of the year starts tomorrow and the 21/10 Novak at sportingbet (assume we can get on) looks worthy of a decent bet.  People are asking for 4 figure sums under 2/1 on bf and his general record at the event pretty much ensures a deep run.  Now being coached by the lawns legend Boris Becker he looks a very solid fav to me in what looks a relatively weak year with question marks over most of the other major runners.

Federer ew at 6/1 looks cracking ew value.  He is under on the machine in both the win and place markets with several hundred done at 23/10 to place and we would be getting 3/1 to place on the 1/2 1,2 terms.  Presumably because of his draw of avoiding the top 2 in the market (novak and Muz) until the final.

I have backed both personally and would recommened £60 win Novak 21/10 and £30 ew Federer at 6/1 (boyles have money back concession up to £100 if Muz wins the event) if not then bald/tote are the only others at 6/1.  If we can get on at Boyles then i will recommend the maximum amount to trigger the cash back as it's a great offer coupled with an over the bf win/place price.  Not sure if maximum £100 refund is on the win part of the bet or both win and place.

Boyles also offer money back up to £100 as well if Serena wins the women's event.  This is cash back and not free bet equivalent.

we can't use boyles

nothing against the ideas, obv djokovic looks a fair enough favourite...but....

i am sure we should find someone to win federer's quarter, at a price.....on his recent form in slams/stage of his career

the ladies is wide open, surely we can find some value in that field?

Not sure if it was discussed when it came up last week, but thought Wozniacki is worth a few pennies each way at 150-1.  Not sure if still available.  Showed signs of post McIlroy life in the grass court warm ups and has okayish record against the big guns.

how would it tell between a defender or attacker unless you sprayed all the players in some sort of paint

Saw that Wozniacki price long gone.  Don't think 66-1 cuts it.

However - Casey Dellacqua played a couple of very strong matches the last week or so on grass, including a win against Stosur.  Powerful Australian player.  I was somewhat surprised to see a massive 500-1.  Has Radwanska in the 2nd round, but she's beatable on current form.

Recommend £2.50 each way at 500-1.  If she beats Radwanska the price will plummet.

Doubles player, so good volleys assured.

I'm sure technology could come up with something - each team has different types of microchips in their boots?  And strapped to their foreheads Smiley
