Tonight we have

£25 at 3-1 Argentina to final

£50 e/w at 4-1 Argentina to win the world cup 1/2 odds 1,2

£30 e/w at 8-1 Netherlands to win the World cup 1/2 odds 1,2

That's rather good news, so we are assured of an interest in the Final, & a return, well done lads.

And last night only cost us a quid, so God bless Ladbrokes.

The first Test starts today at Trent Bridge. Fine weather, big toss to win

Far be it for me to question you & your OCD stat-attacks, but is it really fine weather?

The BBC chaps say that rain is forcast every day except, possibly, today, with heavy & persistent rain forecast for tomorrow.

I was about to float the idea of backing the Draw, even though it is the favourite, & by some way, it looked great value to me.

Best weather today, win toss and bat put up a score

then bowl in more favourable weather, assuming there is enough play

not many tests that play through five days are draws

the sri lanka series had two of the stodgiest pitches you will ever see. the first ended with a team clinging on 9 down, the second ended with a win off the last over

obviously if a few days are washed out it draws, but thats what you are relying on

But tomorrow looks like it could wash out, and the forecast looks bad at the weekend too.  Best price is beteveryday as always though.  I wouldn't want to bet on a positive result.  Given we miss best price then should probably just give it a miss?

i don't mind, whatever people want. obviously if you lose more than a day, it can easily draw.

Fred should probably swerve it as we don't have concensus at the moment, & I suppose the price is not that great.

To avoid aftertiming suggestions though, I'll be having a modest off-thread wager on the Draw, as I'm quite certain the weather will be bad. I need to wee a lot more when rain is in the air, & I was up 3 times in the night. Infallible system.

Not sure we should be ignoring this, to be frank. Unique analysis, as not many people are old enough for long enough to get a statisitically significant trend established.

How much do we want on?

We should seek a view from Karabiner really.

6/4 draw has gone.  Obviously people have heard about the nocturnal toilet trips.
