Just posted this on the dog thread and it's worthy of a lumpy bet at 365.  Recommend £110 to win £80.  A clean 365 account will get a bet to win £1500.

http://www.oddschecker.com/greyhounds/doncaster/20:04/winner

This is traditionally the worse sky card of the year and they certainly haven't disappointed tonight with a dire selection of races/runners featuring numerous poor northern graders.  I say this every year but i have no idea why Doncaster gets a sky meeting given the sky card is done by BAGS now and Donny doesn't even have a BAGS contract.  The 8/11 with 365 and bald about the sprint jolly (804pm) which gagged up last week on sky is a gift and hills 2/5 seems a lot closer to the likely sp.

Going into a bald shop is so comical. He really is the lowest of the low with his tactics.  I go in and ask for £800/£1100 on the sprinter above and get offered half and the price is now 8/13 (why do they bother with odds compilers) and the two shop staff are dressed up like its St Patrick's day in stupid outfits literally leading people by the hand to a fobt promotion all to win a £5 free play voucher if they get the highest score across two days so they are actively encouraged to come in again tomorrow and play the dirty fobt's for a second time.  Most of the punters who came into the shop had no intention of playing the fobt either.  I can't think of a person I would rather have over on a monster coup than the bald manc.  The way he forces his staff to make punters play fobt's in order to get their annual bonus is such low level scum tactics.

I wish I could record these tactics and put them on YouTube. What a weasel bald is.

Bwin have got prices up for the 4 wild cards, def Lola instead of Emily. Interesting to see that Simon has been stitched up with (I presume Louis chosen) the strange looking, singing and dancing Stevi Ritchie. Be interesting if true.

Pretty sure Simon and the producers actually choose everyone.

I'd heard it was that even stranger acting rain girl, either way a no channer who will yawn their way along for a couple of weeks b4 the inevitable exit.

I actually have a bet I really like on one of the sub markets, wlll post it later just for teeks to enjoy! Smiley

Ok just for Tikay as I know he loves these reality shows...

So I really like a bet on the Xfactor in the Top Girl market.

The wild card is 99% going to be the plucky geordie fishmonger Lola who was 'shockingly' ousted from the top 3 by Chezza.

Her dad's an ex footballer, has two grandparents constantly on call for the cheese factor, with the girl next door look/personality that won't offend the majority of voters-women. She is just ok at singing.

Obv the script called for her 'omission', faker than ever nowadays.

The Betfair prices on the girls for the outright are Lauren (very average)-12.5, Steph (can't sing but pretty)-46, and Chloe fake posh yawnsome-50.

Lola/wld card is quoted by some bookies at a high of 13.0-I think this is a smidgen large but not really worth a bet.

Top Girl is as much of a match bet as you could imagine, i'd make the two rags bigger.

So 12.5 on one girl and 13.0 on the other in the outrights.

Yet we get 7/4 the wild card (Lola) compared to 11/8 Lauren in the top girl market.

I feel the market is allowing too much for the 'chance' it could be another girl spontaneously picked. It won't-just ask Sir Chomps.

Recommend £100@7/4 Wild Card Top Girl with huckleberries.

I've gone consistent with the size of other x factor bets

11 Oct 2014 - The X Factor 2014 - Top Girl - Best Girls Performer
Tip It

Wildcard Winner - Girls @ 7/4

Stake : £50.00
Estimated Returns : £
137.50
Transaction Reference:
O/0457483/0001110/F

one way and another we seem to be implying the 12 they have put through are crap and the wildcards are the value

Only my opinion, but Lola is  a bit of shouter (think judges made that comment also) plus cant stop crying, means too much etc... Lauren is sweet but only young and prob going to be a bit boring after 2-3 weeks..  bit harsh to say Steph cant sing, she is not THE best, but she's soulful and more 'cool' than the others,... Simon always seems to have twinkle in his eye when she's been auditioning (prob nothing to do with her voice, granted Smiley ) @ 15/2 she would be my pick of 4

Fair do's mate.

Get you about Lola being bit shouty, but tbh I don't really think singing ability matters all that much anymore.

Gen think Steph is more out of tune than a broken gutair, think Tinie Tempah summed her up well when he said if he closed his eyes it's pretty meh.

All kinda padding anyway, reason i like the bet is all about the price, if two selections are the same in an outright market I find it hard to see why one is so much bigger than the other in a sub market, just think they are factoring in the wild card thing too much.

Yup, can see you're thinking bud, I think they are probably much closer aswell .. If you dont like Steph it has to be good shout

I think if they are evenly matched it actually makes Stephs price look slightly big in this market  (in relation to outrights) as well

Got to say I agree about Steph (although I am heavily into Lola ante post) I thought Steph' s price for top girl was much more attractive, as to whether she can sing or not listen to her on BGT last year, she can def sing and I personally think her outright price has a lot to do with us hardly seeing her until Judges houses ( the bookies didn't even have a price on her until she made it there), I'm certain she is better than her 50.0 on bf and along with Fleur is flying under the radar. If anyone goes along with the theory that a lot of the destiny of the contestants is controlled by the producers then you could do worst than have a few quid on her on bf ( even if you trade it later), it was reported a few months ago that Simon asked her to apply. After her performance on BGT and hearing that news I had her down as one of the favs.
