Daily Report
Profit on Month £197.05
Outstanding Bets £4156.26
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&usp=drive_web#gid=30
A loss of £30 yesterday with Pulchinella second at Newmarket and the offer double on Estidhkaar and Ivawood falling on a day of big priced winners, horses in winter coats and tacky ground on Future Champions day
Fortunately, we reined it back after the first couple of races and saved £75 of losses on short priced favourites on william hill offers
As talked about yesterday Bautista Agut through to the semi-finals of the ATP Kremlin cup in Moscow. We have, on checking, 20-1 each way about the Argentinian
He plays Gulbis at 1.30pm today and is currently 11/4 3rd favourite of the 4 semi-finalists for the title

One postscript to thursday's NFL, the Jets became the first team ever to have 40 minutes of possession, rush for OVER 200 yards.. commit no turnovers...and LOSE
the day after this, they did one of the most baffling trades for any NFL team in recent history, trading for Percy Harvin from the Seahawks. Who will no doubt solve all their problems
things to watch out for today, tantalising tipster tikay's hope Viztoria at Ascot, Kingsbarn too. Goals galore at Peterborough v Barnsley, the return of the Premier League, Strictly, X-Factor, hoping Fulham beat Norwich to help Symons get the job, the Hughes/Moore battle at Ascot....

Hughes is 1.02/1.03 on betfair
Dont think we need to fret that one! Hughes is having a lot more rides per week than Moore and the market tells us Moore must still be planning his overseas trip before the season ends

Why is that "baffling" Rich?

the Jets are 1-6 and highly unlikely to have a winning season
likely to change coach and general manager at the end of the season
so why trade for a troublesome player who is paid $13m a year who doesn't solve their problems?
the sensible approach is to draft well, use their cap space well and not blow it on splashy trades where the seller usually has by far the best of it
harvin has the stats of a role player yet is paid like a superstar

It's a bit like signing Joey Barton for £25m. He might be exactly what you need, but, in the era of the salary cap, you're gambling on it being worth it. He comes with baggage, despite his talent.

as usual tricky getting on at the right prices/terms with non-bookmakers
Betting Emporium
4.05 Ascot
£15 e/w PethersMoon 25-1 1/5 1,2,3 BV. Sportingbet 25-1 1/4 1,2,3 was restricted to £1.60
£20 e/w Western Hymn 20-1 1/5 1,2,3 BV. Alternative was 16/1 1/4 the odds so no difference
i am struggling to access WH Mobile for Cirrus/offer. will keep trying
--
for the opening 2m race, i came up with Pallasator at 8-1 as an e/w alternative to Leading Light, but LL has won in mud too. So I will throw that race open for thoughts.....
--
we have kingsbarn in the mile race but would love to see top notch tonto land it.
--
the mile and a half fillies looks a tough one?
--
the final race looks to be a stormer but no ideas here!

Neil's champions stakes thoughts are up (free to read, no need to register)

Ha, I am morphing into Neil. I backed Western Hymm last night with not want to be bookie BFSB at 18/1 e/w. I was limited to £6 e/w after what must have been barely a handful of bets ever. I know thread is restricted too, and frankly didn't want to give them the publicity, so didn't put it up.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

That's just ridiculous.
Fred has over £800 in that Acount, & Tighty has just PM'd me to suggest we withdraw a goodly chunk. Makes no sense to have the account if we can only get £1.60 on a 25/1 shot in a well-traded event.

Not sure if League One has been covered for today but the stand out price looks to be Notts County at home to Crawley.
Few reasons:
Crawley were dire last week. Notts County is not the place for a bounce back result.
County are unbeaten in all comps since playing Bristol City at the end of August.
Josh Simpson (CM) and Izale Mcleod (Main Goal Threat) are both doubts.
County will be expected to perform as its a price reduction day and everyone will want a good result to get some floating fans back.
364 and Viktor have them at 6/5.
I'd suggest £20 on this and maybe float £10 on Notts County -1, 10/3 with Viktor and PatrickPower.

A quick "good luck" to Mr Chompy, who returns for Day 2 of the Luton GUKPT today as one of the chip leaders.
I sense he is at the furlong pole, well clear, with a double handful.
