I fell asleep during 2nd quarter, wtf happened to Eddie Lacey's rushing yards he had went for 50 in the 1st I was happy as looked at that point as if Julio was going to cover so I thought 1/2 will do, bigger bet was on Eddie. Great early morning surprise.

Left in the fourth quarter with a bruised hip, having made 73 rushing yards.
Not sure why he couldn't have bruised his hip in the first quarter to save my fantasy team from defeat...

Don't forget the World Darts Championships start next week, & runs through Xmas, Dec 18th to January 4th, & most of it televised.
Seem to recall we had a great sweat with MVG last time, & it'd be good to have some Fred darts fun again this year.
We have a position or two already, I think, but no reason not to build a little portfolio for this.

I'm torn between what was worse, that X-Factor set with flashing lights & shite, or the utter banality of Breakfast TV questions & Presenters.
The young lady came across very well though, spoke nicely, reasonable humility & sheer excitement for what is happening to her. If she fixes her hair & puts some clothes on, (M & S do some lovely stuff these days, not all frumpy) she'll do just fine.
And she has her own "Battle Bus", just like Nigel Farage & that? Incred.

Daily Report
Profit on Month £27.50
Outstanding Bets £4083.21
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&usp=drive_web#gid=33
No bets completed yesterday
In the Premier League
Southampton were very unlucky to lose (their third loss in a row) to Manchester United 2-1, with United defending poorly
United had 15 successful passes that led to shots, Southampton had 51. United did have RVP though
United up to 3rd, Southampton down to 5th. Relegation beckons. If you look through binoculars after a few pints.
In the NFL
the Packers were 31-7 up at half time and held a rally off to win
They have a 10-3 record, 7-0 at home this season, are currently second seeds in the NFC and 7-2 superbowl favourites. We are on at 14-1 and also for the conference. If they can get home field advantage for the play-offs, we'll be especially well placed
Aaron Rodgers was brilliant again, albeit against a pass rush that resembled a group of six year old girls learning British Bulldog
For the Falcons,. Matt Ryan threw for 375 yards in the shootout, including over 250 to the quite brilliant Julio Jones
Jones now leads the NFL in receiving (which it seems i didn't get on for thread, meant to, but have on elsewhere)
Ryan is 5th in passing, we are on each way (16/1 paying 3 places), under 200 yards behind 3rd with 3 games to go
we have a fighting chance here, with Manning's numbers beginning to wind down and Brees in a dysfunctional offense
http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?archive=false&conference=null&statisticCategory=PASSING&season=2014&seasonType=REG&experience=&tabSeq=0&qualified=false&Submit=Go
NBA
LeBron James (18-4-7) leads the cavs to a 110-88 victory over the Brooklyn Nets. Dion Waiters finished w/ 26 pts.
toronto Raptors beat Denver Nuggets 112-107
LA Clippers squeaked past Phoenix 121-120
so three wins from three for our portfolio last night
elsewhere
- Aguero confirmed out for at least a month, five league games, with a knee.
- latest x factor odds
- latest Xmas number one odds
- latest lord ashcroft polling

I had PMs yesterday about the Australia/India cricket, which began overnight
I placed the bets recommended in the Pms on the understanding that they would be written up on the thread but they weren't, and the match has now started so i don't think we can after-time, they have to remain off thread
Australia are 354-6
one recommendation was Shami top indian bowler for this game. i fancied Aaron, and backed both for tikay
so far 2 wickets each with 4 to fall so in the hunt
Shami 17.2 1 83 2
Aaron 17.0 1 95 2
I Sharma 20.0 4 56 1
K Sharma 23.0 1 89 1
Vijay 12.0 3 27 0
the other recommendation was Murali Vijay top indian batsman in the series at 11-2. they have yet to bat, but no write up appeared
anyway, here is the summary of the bets for off-thread so tikay knows

Tip It
Mohammed Shami @ 3/1

Glad she came across well. She seemed blissfully unaware she was 1/20 to make the final when her name was announced. Did they show her number 1 from iTunes? Now 1.45/1.46.
Think Andrea took your advice on board and shopped at M & S. 19.5/25 is where that gets you.
I did think we'd get a run at this as she was going to stand out from all those crooning ballads, never really expected this. There was something in the Guardian saying that she had made X factor relevant again.
Please hold for 5 more days.

Sorry for not writing the Indian batsman bet up Tighty but I got a bit confused by your PM reply saying that the best Indian bowler was out, and that you fancied Aaron in this market. I thought it was a subtle way of telling me my tip was not worth doing. No harm done. If any of the proper bookies put the market back up today I will post how I think Vijay could be " King of the little people" but we do need 9/2 or preferably 11/2.
