We backing Bruno Mars for Christmas number 1?  Massive charge going on as it is getting a rush release on the back of Fleur's X factor performance.  Coral best at 7/1 and limiting me to £25.

we're assuming if Fleur wins her xmas single is different?

with hindsight, would have been nice to see this in the final

anyway to try and get the band aid money back i went for £25

restricted to £5, so i flounced off

don't worry, 99% of you will get on though

I read somewhere they were trying to get Bruno Mars in to sing the song next week with her in the final.

I still think that her single will be something different as they normally all sing the same song, though guess Simon can do whatever makes him most money.

Tried getting the33/1 with the magic sign this morning but their site was under maintenance, they knew!!! Current price still value?

The 33/1 wasn't available last night.  Bruno was marked as suspended on Ladbrokes.  I don't know the current prices, but wouldn't rush to take less than 6/1.  I think Fleur is more than capable of getting a number 1.

Tighty.

Regarding the recommend for Vijay, he is available to back on the Boyles site at 5-1 so maybe you could consider including the bet on Fred. The amount of time I have spent perusing the Delhi Times sports site, over the last 2 years, to get the inside information might warrant a little wiggle room.

re Darts : Anderson to win the 2nd quarter 6/5

His quarter by far the softest, 3rd favourite for the tournament now after his players championship win a few weeks ago.

His route out the quarter is:

qualifier
Kist/Klassen
Newton/Painter
Wright

Wrights form has definitely come down alot from this time last year also and I think Ando will be a 4/7 or shorter favourite vs him and a 1/3 or shorter vs the rest. Feels good but I am an Ando fanboy so I might have tinted specs.

Also, Chizzy e/w 40/1 in the much easier side of the draw, finalled the GSOD in some decent form, can outscore anyone if he makes some doubles then he could cause a few upsets, this years Peter Wright?

If those prices for those individual matches are in any way accurate you have produced an argument to back the individual matches and not to take the 6/5.

I did consider that, but Im not a bookie so I was just guestimating at the prices, they will never be any longer than that though thats for sure. fwiw he is 1/33 vs the qualifier

anyone happy to contemplate laying Liverpool tonight at 1.8?

need to beat Basel

Basel through with a point

Basel beat them in Switzerland, and it seems a much closer game to me than 1.8/5.1 (away)/4.4 (draw)

obviously the Anfield/Europe night factor is germane

your thoughts welcome

Liverpool are very average this year and it's looking extremely unlikely that they're good enough to qualify for top 4 ~9% according to this fella https://twitter.com/mc_of_a. Seems Basel are perennially underrated as well. They managed to outshoot Madrid last game so they can't be shit.

I would much rather be on Ando @ 6/5 for his quarter than MVG @ 1/2 for his quarter. MVG will have to beat one of Thornton or Chizzy to win the quarter and probably Terry Jenkins before that who has given him a scare of few this year. Where can you bet the double on things like that?

888 are 5/4 on Anderson.

Couple of things: anyone got any thoughts on 3/1 for first time winner (3.3 on bf for pennies) winners in the field are Taylor, MVG, RVB, Lewis and Part, with The last three in the same quarter. Not sure how to work the maths out on that one.

Also the 6/5 on Chizzy vs Wright in a match bet.

Thoughts on these.

Scrap the 3/1, it's probably better to back Ando, Wade and Chizzy separately with Bunting already on Board.
