Taylor stroppy yet?

No, not really, though he is not exactly extolling the joys of spring.

He's the greatest ever, so many people want to see him knocked off his perch. It's a typical British thing, imo. In the USA, they seem to be quite the opposite.

I guess it's like when we were at school, and that posh lad at the front of the class got the Milk Monitor Badge, we sort of resented his success. Daft, really.

Nothing to do with him being a petulant child?

Please don't refer to Tal Bloke as petulant. Precocious maybe, not petulant.

Taylor getting a bit feisty now.

He levels at 3 sets all, after missing 8 shots at his double, and so nearly allowing vdV back in for a 4-2 lead.

The double was followed by a bit of Taylor showboating. I'm the greatest, keep the faith sorta thing.

No. Probably isn't for most.

Brits like seeing different people win stuff. Finished second in SPOTY by a public vote nine years after his conviction.

Oh and posh? Moi?! Tremendous. How positively frabjous!
