Friend of mine knows someone in the Ipswich coaching set up.
He says they are putting out a strong team at Southampton tomorrow and seems very positive about their chances at 15/2.
Might be worth seeing Southampton team news and then form an opinion.

Proper game, this one between MvG and Anderson.
Anderson is loving it, and hitting his doubles unerringly.

Olsen has three receptions at
the half
. We are on over 5.5, so I believe that's on track. Also useful that the game is close, leaving Carolina with less need to run-run-run and more need to mix it up with passes.

Two awful throws to Olsen in the third quarter which should have been bread and butter for a good QB. If we miss out on the bet, we're unlucky.

Lindley has thrown for 43 yards through 3 quarters.
Not going to be happy if this one loses.

In a market that requires marginally more thought, Cardinals are woeful against opposing tight ends and Carolina have one of the best in Greg Olsen.
The Cardinals have allowed a NFL-high 1,085 yards receiving (on 85 rec.) to tight ends this season, along with eight touchdowns

Red Shouty Man says Olsen will get 5.5 receptions and offers 5/4 on the overs. Carolina won't be in need of long passes to Kelvin Benjamin by the end and, with Arizona's offensive woes, having more time with the ball in Cam's hand suggests more low-risk, short passes on third downs to the safest pair of hands in the team. He's had two quiet weeks leading up to this but had been nursing injuries, plus the Panthers barely threw the ball at all last week (16 times total) while destroying the Falcons.
Could be a good spot for an overs bet, methinks. £24 for £30, please.
No receptions in the second half (see earlier miniwhinge), leaves us with the three from the first half an hour.
Loser.

Possible handicap bet on Man City v Wednesday game.
Wednesday have lost two influential loan players (Drenthe, a winger and McGugan, a midfielder) and rumours are we may have to play our third choice keeper as Westwood (who has been unbelievable this season is said to have a knee injury/rumours about a transfer to a Premier League club and Kirkland has possible concussion). If the keeper rumours are true then we would play Dawson, a young inexperienced keeper who has been on loan at Alfreton earlier this season.
Even if the keeper rumours are wrong, we will have almost no attacking threat having scored very few goals this season. Although our defensive record has been excellent, this is Man City not the Championship.
In the League Cup we got battered by City this season.
Sounds like Yaya Toure may play his last game before going to Africa Cup.
On -2 goals Man City are 5/4.
Got to be worth a £20 bet.

A loss of £26 yesterday
One winner
Ryan Lindley under passing yards +£20 The Cardinals finished with 77 total yards, fewer than any team in NFL playoff history has ever had and Lindley was abject. They finish averaging 1.64 yards per play the worst offensive performance in NFL playoff history. Shame we were restricted as usual

losers
Olsen receptions -£16, largely due to quarterback Cam Newton's inaccuracy
Pittsburgh Steelers ante post -£20. Well beaten by the Ravens in the AFC Wild card game 30-17. Missing a key offensive player Le-Veon Bell was crucial, but they might not have won with him, the Ravens are a team suited for the play offs. They scratch around in the regular season then tend to peak with a strong running game and good pass rush when it really matters.
They have been installed as more than a touchdown underdogs at the Patriots next week which almost certainly understates their chances as they are strongest (pass rush) where the Patriots are weakest (pass protection)

Morning Mr T.
Just a banzai bet for you today in the rugby between Leicester and Bath. This is the biggest rivalry in English rugby. Earlier in the season Bath dished out a 45-0 hammering, but it will be a close game today. The banzai bet that I suggest is £5 on there being a sending off in the game. I would say this should be priced up at about 10 or 12 to 1 but we can get 20-1 if we are quick. In that last match there was a sending off for Leicester, and if Bath can go a couple of scores up in the second half the crowd will be baying for Leicester to show some fighting spirit.
Suggest £5 on a sending off @ 20-1 with Hills.
In the first tennis tournament, in Brisbane, I like the chances of Nishikori.

9/2 is quite skinny isn't it?

BDO darts - I like Scott Mitchell at 10/1 EW. He played well last night coming through a sudden death decider against O'Shea averaging 92.5. As usual this tournament won't take much winning and an average in the low 90s could well be enough to get the job done. With Martin Phillips going out in his quarter the draw has really opened up for him and he should have a nice run through to the semis. Recommend £10 EW
