Anyone like the Bengals tonight? Colts look unbackable to me (punting on Luck having a stormer), Bengals have a fearsome defensive unit and can attack a poor offensive line, knowing that Luck will be calling a lot of pass plays early, with the team not having a run game. Bengals have the run game and, whilst A J Green isn't there and that's a loss, 13/8 to win (BMU) outright appeals to me.
Momentum is not to be underestimated and I think that's with the road team.
Interested in views.
tikay is on Jeremy Hill first TD ladbrokes 9/1 and over 87 yards at 10/11.
haven't had the time to write them up properly but the basic thoughts were
Cincy have to run it, Green is out, Gresham is out and keep Luck off the field and try to not put it in Dalton's hands to win it. run it run it run it and control the clock
Hill over 220 rushes this season has over 5 yards a yarry. 80-90 yards should be covered if he rushes 20 times. Would be staggered if he doesn't get it 25-30 times
The Indy run defense is poor
Indy have no running game themselves, and Cincy have good pass defense. Its only a lack of trust in Dalton that stops me wanting the Bengals with the points or money line
Excellent, thanks Rich, am watching it.
Then, the Darts.
Then, some more NFL.
What a life.

Could the BBC have found a worse set of commentators for the game today?
Shearer is dry at the best of times, but he's sitting next to his nephew, who's come with him for work experience (who didn't have a shirt so they had to get an outfit to fit him as best as they could from a PDSA charity shop round the corner). Then we have the two snooker commentators in the gantry, whispering the obvious (including "Hull are still in this while it's still 1-0"). They couldn't even add some crowd noise from another stadium to make it sound like at least someone's enjoying it.
This is Tildsendesque. Has Auntie forgotten how to do live football?

Did you not see either of the BT games today?

Mercifully not. At least Ian Darke has an interesting voice.
"You can't see Hull coming back from here". Thanks, JP. I'll get back to the neffle then.

Mondy suggested Carver a week or so ago, and I think we got on, though I may be wrong.
I believe we are on Beardsley, too, from way back.

Why is the darts on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports Darts?
Is there not an old episode of Tight Lines or Aerobics Oz Style they can put on that they have to put the same thing on two channels?

Think thread should be looking to take some big price punts on next Manager of The Delusional Army.
We know what a great businessman Mike Ashley is so he will go for the cheapest man remotely qualified to do the job.
This makes the following seemingly unlikely candidates :
Bruce is fav but would cost an initial compo payment and I'd imagine he's better paid at Hull then we would offer.
I believe Tim Sherwood turned down WBA because they wouldn't let him bring his staff with him, I'd expect this to be a stumbling block.
The Local Rag says Colo was never in the frame and the recent price move on Worthington is false rumours.
Pulis seems no chance since he will want full control which he won't get and a decent salary, gl with that.
Still leaves a bit of a minefied to get thru, but because of they above I think the following are maybe worth a flutter :
£10 @ 20/1 Christophe Galtier BV - May fancy a shot at the prem and salary may just be in reach.
£5 @ 20/1 on Carver seems a decent cover bet for Beardsley as inside recruitment is definitely possible and since Carver has the job for now he seems most likely of those insiders.
Mike Ashley seems very keen on giving jobs to his mates so that also seems a good angle to explore.
FYI I'm a Newcastle fan thus I'm not capable of giving any kind of impartial input but just thought I'd share my thoughts on the matter.
Mondy!
I have no idea of the merits of those suggestions, or how deep in your cheek your tongue may be.
I used to enjoy having my say on the Toon thread, but I know I upset you a bit, so I've not Posted on there since.
I think we should do these 2 bets (if you are serious), as I enjoy your virtual company.
BUMPED
This was the Mondy suggestion.

I was blaming myself for betting on this impotent offense until you posted. Thanks.
