pretty good upgrade for the cavs in a trade where they lose waiters but gain shumpert and JR smith from the knicks, I think it'll help them a lot in the regular season and playoffs.

Terrible trade for the Cavs for me.  How many balls are there on the court at once to feed the ego's already on the team without adding JR Smith to the equation.  Don't see much upside and potentially a lot of negative downside on and off the court if JR can't accept he isn't the prime time scorer he thinks he is.  Shumpert is a big upgrade defensively though and taking JR's bloated contract/ego/inefficient shooting %/off court baggage on board was the price the Cavs had to pay to get him unfortunately.  Big culture shock ahead for JR playing with a real winner in Lebron rather than 'i don't care if we win as long as i get 25 a night' Melo.

In better news Rondo has finally realised he is good at passing again and not scoring after going 1-13 shooting last night but handing out 14 assists.  His first double figure assist game for what seems like months!  The Mavs are looking more and more like the real deal for me.  Very balanced team with few ego issues as everyone knows their role and seems to be doing it effeciently.

Wiggins is a shoe in for rookie of the year barring injury.  I got a lump laid at under 1/3 on bf yday and paddy offer 1/4.  He has scored 20 points + in 5 of the last 6 games and is playing a much bigger role in the team now following the Twolves mid season adjustments.

I disagree, Waiters and JR Smith are pretty much the same guy, but smith probably a bit more useful and arguably will have less ego than Waiters. Shumpert very useful overall, will likely start I'd guess, so think it helps them overall

Mirotic might be someone to watch for in ROY, playing good minutes on a good team, but surely Wiggins will get it.

How is Rondo doing in the assists bet please Mark ?

http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/player/_/stat/assists/sort/avgAssists/year/2015/seasontype/2

only 4 runners that can win with 3 places paid. We are currently third.  It is very tight and it's going to come down to how he adjusts with playing for his new team.  Early signs are not that promising but last night was a good sign.  Not as happy about the bet as i was a month ago.  Would be unlucky to finish 4th and not get the place 'refund' on the bet.

If you look at the column AP48m (assists per 48 minutes played) he is leading by a fair way.  His playing time in boston was restricted i assume to protect him from injury before they traded him.  I am hoping now he has moved to a title contender that he will play more minutes each game and that should help the bet.

it was asked a couple of times while you were away Mark

would you run Wiggins or lock it in (if only to protect against injury)?

we have £100 at 7.0 on bwin

I have laid that lump at 1.32 on bf.  I have had it up for a while and forgot about it tbh and it was matched the other night after he poured in another 20 point game.  It gives you a good idea when one punter on bf hoovers a price on a market with no solid tissue with the firms that 1/3 is usually value so i would imagine he should probably be a fair bit shorter than 1/3 now.  I have put up £2222 at 1/10 on bf just incase someone else thinks he is weighed in.  A lot can happen to fragile rookies in their first 82 game season as we have seen this year.

Tighty the Chennai market should re-open soon, Bet365 are up now. Take any price for Coric at 16's or better. Nadal is in big trouble in his match which makes Wawrinka's price look awful.

our bwin is empty, otherwise i would agree with you

his old pals and cronies will re-elect him, surely?

where is the motivation for change/reform amongst his executive?

There is none because the small nations he has basically created and from their point of view he is brilliant.

Until somebody from England or even Europe realises it is now a world game he will stay in imo

Anyway i am more and more sure that price is wildly wrong and suggest £100 if we can get funded (may struggle for that much they are generally ok with me and allowed me £18)
