The league one top scorer market is a dream at present

Top scorer currently is Doyle.  Rotherham have now had two failed bids in total 7 clubs are interested including Celtic. He is heavy odds on to move this window for a side who are safe but to far away to keep him and go for promotion.

Been discussing this with chompy for a few weeks and we are on Andy Williams at all rates down from . Believe a Fred elder may also be on 😉

Worst case scenario Doyle stays and the bet is still ok. If he leaves it is a superb bet, especially if you can nab three places with someone.

All blatter markets taken down as well for now anyway

Would you recommend Williams at current prices?      Also would you take 1/3 top 2 or 1/5th top 3? Top 3 seems better to me but thought would check!

11/2 1/3 top 2 for the thread?

the alternative is 9/2 paying three places

Yes didnt realise Hills had chopped him to 9/2

Obv 3 places is best as Doyle may even hang on in the places if he leaves and the rest stop. Wait for clarification from Chompy probably best

Don't think it can be obvious at all.  Odd on 3 places vs near 2/1 2 places.  Win price is 20% bigger.  I haven't done the maths and am out with terrible reception so haven't thought about it in detail.  I'd probably go 2 places without that research.

Edit.  Taking 10 mins to load a page.  Evens 3 places is worth same as 2/1 2 places, so to take the much shorter win price you'd have to be v confident he was much more likely to be 3rd than first.  Sorry can't post more now, internet driving me mad.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

its the Buenos Aires eprix tonight

http://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-e/buenos-aires-eprix/winner

one for Peter-27 if he sees this

probably the quickest driver in the field, qualified on pole last time, gonig for the win when he retired with two laps to go last time

should we be on Vergne for this?

Really tough day on the footie across the country.  I put a few thoughts on the Scottish football thread, which feels like I mostly talk to myself :-)

I think Fred should have a speculative punt on Albion Rovers away to top of the table Forfar today. I think the best price is around 7/2.  I think this is a bit big I would have made them somewhere around 5/2 - 11/4 mark.  Worth a tenner I feel.

Sorry Arbroath, game is off now.

Forfar in a different league and involved in another top of the table clash.  Losing it here.

During the week I take a fleeting interest in this thread with the occasional check (would like to get involved more, but struggle due to time constraints). However, I will always make sure I'm around for the motorsport events! I am determined to get you guys into profit for motorsport :-)

The odds are still forming again after FP1 - will get back to you on this.

I do have a bet suggestion for Formula One however - http://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/fernando-alonso/total-season-wins

Alonso 0 Wins at 11/8. This really should be below EVS. McLaren were poor last season, and the cars are basically carry over into 2015 (with development of course). Additionally, it looks possible that all engine manufacturers will be able to develop in season, with the exception of Honda (Mclaren's supplier for 2015). I really can't see McLaren scoring a podium in 2015, let alone a win - even with a talent like Fernando at the wheel.

Presumably, in the absence of a major rule/regs change, mercedes are going to be difficult to catch again, hence the Hamilton price

no doubt we can get an ante-post portfolio together in sub markets through testing before Australia

NFL Play offs today

we are on Bal +7 and Car +11.5 from earlier in the week

only the third time ever that all 4 favourites are favoured by 6 points or more

Since 1990, 24/96 of the wildcard round winners ended up winning in the divisional round

All four favorites in Divisional Playoffs have not covered since 1991

i think one of the favourites, at least, is going to get beat this weekend

open for business on sub-markets etc tonight or for tomorrow's two games

Yes, I'd like a few "interest" bets for tonoight's Televised games if possible, please.

I think Fred should have £30 on Durrant at 11/10 in this evenings darts. He has been very impressive all tournament averaging mid to high 90s every round. Adams was always a bit suspect under pressure in his peak and bottle generally doesn't improve with age. Durrant has been more impressive to this point and I'd have him the marginal favourite here.
