I've never really taken an interest in the NFL, watched a couple of superbowls but never really had an interest in knowing what was going on. Those two games yesterday were great to watch though, def got me hooked.

I do have a question though

In the Bronchos game when they were down 21-10 with under a minute left, how were they supposed to overcome that lead in under a minute? They would have to score a TD,regain possession and then score a field goal just to tie all in under a minute with every advance going out of bounds so as not to run down the clock if I'm understanding the scoring correctly. Has this ever actually happened?

yes score a touchdown and a 2 point conversion

leaves them 21-18 down

onside kick, recover that (short kick that travels 10 yards, luck of the bounce whether you recover it)

advance and kick a field goal to tie and take it to overtime or a touchdown to win

has happened, or something like it has happened, frequently

score field goal then onside kick (short kick over 10 yards but they can pick the ball up and have possession) then score a TD and take a 2pt conversion to tie

can be done but its rare

The bf in running price was around 25/1 which kinda highlights how likely it is to happen.  4% of the time ish.  Maybe slightly less with fav/longshot bias built into those prices in running and punters happy to 'give it away' to green up once the pre game dog is 1/25.

Bwin still are 11/50

Suggest max whatever fred can at that price

Be settled by the morning probably wont be much allowed but no brainer obviously

Nice spot Horsey. Just for future reference BWin will take four times as much on a double as they will on a single.

5 times for me.

Yes 5 times, sorry.

the votes are tallied and the official announcement is the day before the superbowl. you would have seen the "awards honors show" advertised on last night's nfl games

£20 at 20-1 if this is right. it could be, or Mack might win.

Can't see past a Queen of the South under 20s win tonight away to Dumbarton.
Bet365 are only bookmakers offering odds, 4/7.
Can get 1.8 on betfair exchange.
Dumbarton are dreadful. Kmac may come along and tell me I'm wrong however until then, £50 at 1.8?

IS there a stat for how often historically onside kicks work?

Has a team or perhaps a particular coach ever been known as an onside kick specialist?

This would be even sweeter, because I'm on with Coral, who have all but shut me down.
