Copy paste

Fulham to beat Norwich on Saturday @ 11... bogey side for the Budgies, winless in thirteen games (losing ten) against them... Fulham unbeaten in five, scoring four against Boro last week... Norwich form maybe taking a dip at the wrong time... club deflated after missing out on automatic promotion... players rested for play-offs maybe (Grabben suspended?).

I have no problem with the bet.  Why does the 13 game winless streak have any impact on the game tomorrow?  It really tilts me when people roll out these redic stats.  Fulham were probably much much better than norwich in the vast majority of those 13 games and both teams had totally different playing squads and managers.  The sample size is tiny.  Why do people quote stuff like this other than to pad out the argument for their bet.    All the other stuff is fine and relevant but why pad stuff out with this nonsense?

As a Buffalo Bills fan, this is when the 2015 draft starts (we traded our first round pick away last year). Buffalo's first pick market with Red Shouty Man:

Offense: 8/13
Defense: 6/5

We have three tackles in our roster. Jets and Miami defences look scary all of a sudden and we have half a quarterback to protect. Oh, and a run game that requires gaps.

I know lots of OLinemen have gone, but there aren't going to be more magically appearing and we have to concentrate on our weaknesses. Whaley picked three OLinemen last year I think and that didn't really work out. Try again.

We also need Tight Ends for the Greg Roman system. Badly. If he's still on the board, we might pick the quarterback Bryce Petty and Whaley has confirmed that we have done "due diligence" on tackle, La'el Collins whatever that means.

Yes, we could press "best available", but why go to all this trouble in free agency not to draft a competitive OLine?

In plain English, we really need the engine room for our offense and improvement in our defense is more in squad players than starters. Therefore, going offense while the best players are available is much more likely.

8/13 feels a little juicy.

Madness? Be interested in views. £26 for £16 if we fancy.

Hopefully, no one was awake or fleet-fingered for this one. Bills selected a cornerback (defence), before picking an offensive tackle in round three.

The royal baby is on the way, with the Duchess of Cambridge now admitted to the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in Paddington.

Kensington Palace says 'labour is progressing as normal' after she arrived at around 6am with Prince William. The couple do not know the sex of their child.

The Wild dropped the first game of round 2 of the NHL playoffs overnight. After a sloppy first period saw them trailing by three, they regrouped and tied it up, only to concede in the final minute to go 4-3 down. The team got away from their tight forechecking in the first period and looked decidedly sluggish but we're much better over the following 40. Expecting a better showing in game 2 and a Wild win in 7 games.

Yeah sorry guys. I'm a bit grumpy.  Football manager not going great and just ran out of vodka.

I've made Bournemouth the top brand in world football in 2045 and the Puerto Rican chairman is still agitated.

1st world issues.

Skills. I'm merely in 2020 in a game between friends and am at my 5th club already: QPR. Won League Cup, it's announced I qualify for Europe but come the end of the season a mixture of weird league placing and English sides winning both Euro cups means I'm not. Was raging more than when you Hector ranted!

Optimistically hoping for royal male delivery on time.

Interesting comment in racing post today about Hartlepool v Carlisle.  Hartlepool had most of the week off following them staying up last weekend.  Sounds like a week long piss up to me.  The gaffer has asked his players to stay 'a bit professional' for the last game.  Can't imagine they will be remotely focused for this game away from home.  Amazingly Carlisle have drifted for the game.  Def looks a game to have an interest in.  Anyone got any views on it from up north?

What's their head-to-head record over the past 20 years?

carlisle are on good form lately. Hartlepools escape is one of the stories of the season, they should have been buried. Having said that what you have posted is the polite version of what I heard, they dont care, they are rightly celebrating an amazing turn around, and this game is getting in the way. AND harltlepool travel worse than australian politicians. (think the prices are based solely on pools current form)

Agreed but most of their road trips are 400 mile round trips min.  This is their local derby of the season so travelling isn't really an issue here.  More the amount of breezers and hoochs they have trousered this week!

Lets have a £50 interest then at 31/20 at vc.  Put it down to me.  Really like this bet.
