West Brom 2-0 up, and there are more goals to come in this game.

Very popular with the unions.

If you were looking for a guy to win the next election, what happens if the economy improves and, in five years' time, people are reaping the promised rewards?

You'd want a centre ground person to appeal to the middle classes. Burnham isn't really that. The unions could be fighting in a very different way in a year or two, if the constitutional changes go through. Will they be as powerful/relevant? Is their choice automatically a lame duck for the opposition?

Harman's language was rather telling: http://www.standard.co.uk/lifestyle/london-life/harriet-harman-on-how-shes-holding-it-together-as-the-labour-leadership-battle-continues-10257735.html

This really doesn't feel like a market to be on the jolly.

Unions are still ultimately the paymasters though.

Marvellous, got Brunt on my bench too.

One for the short odds boys......

No good for fred (or myself) but SCUY have Lionel messi at 1/16 to still be at barca after the summer transfer window closes

Obviously with bets like this hard to break down it down and analyse as we would on other things and quantify the likelihood of him staying/leaving but this price looks absolutely huge,  obviously a drawback of having to wait 3 months to collect but you certainly won't be getting 6% in the bank!

Any views?

Not contract situation and you're probably aware already, but Barcelona can't sign anyone this Summer, so all the more reason to not get rid...

Have just backed Deckie Johnson for top jump jockey '15/'16 @ 11-10.

He's been picking up a lot of useful spare rides already and should be no bigger than 4-6.

Thread can have anything up to £50 of it.

we'll take this then. don't think it was confirmed yesterday

Take £100. He's now odds-on across the boards and the 10-11 still around in a few spots is decent, barring the usual worries about injury obv. Will stick it on the tab.

Yikes.

How much is the tab Mr W, please? (Exclude Vegas staking, think we should keep that separate).

Including this £100, it's...£109!

£109 sent this morning by Bank Transfer to Mr "Flick It In Wheldon".

Where does betting on correct scores on same logic end
Have a bet on correct score in Chelsea game tonight?

completely different

there are around 25 feasible correct scores in a football match

here there are 8 possible outcomes 4-0 4-1 4-2 and 4-3 either way. can narrow that down further too, most often, by excluding 4-0 so when taking a view dutching a couple of results becomes a possibility

Got my £5 on.

Can't get on, but this seems a fairly daft bet.  There have been a few rumours he might go already this year and he is more likely to transfer than not before the end of his career?  So to me it just seems about the right price and you get more money than the bank because there is a bigger likelihood you aren't getting your money back.  Just because something is very likely doesn't make it a certainty.

It feels different to the Arbboy short things anyway.

No bets completed yesterday

The West Brom win over Chelsea was a nasty result for us as the Palace v West Brom match bet is very much live again, and we had a winner if West Brom had lost

going into the last game of the season Palace are a point ahead and are at home to Swansea. West Brom are at ever reliable Arsenal

Arsenal host Sunderland tonight, and we need them to win to maintain an outside chance of 2nd in the league

in cricket after a rain affected day Lancs are on top of Leics who are 195-6 replying to 368

Middlesex are 102-3 replying to 413

in the MLB the White Sox made it six in a row, Carlos Sanchez's walk off home run securing a 2-1 home win over the Indians
