888 have an offer on that a bet on the usual markets of £5-25 is refunded if Dani Alves is booked during the game.

I see Chiellini is out. Anything for set pieces for Barca? PParr is 12/1 on Pique scoring anytime. Think they haven't noticed yet. 10/1 Scuybet for Fred followers.

33/1 FGS with the same, green bookie.
BMU goes 30/1, though.

Serena Williams is feeling a bit unwell and being ill on the practice court. Betfair fixed are 10/11 +5.5 games Bacsinszky

The +5.5 at 10/11 would still be a bet even if she wasn't unwell.

Suggest £110

[edit 10/11 all gone now, 4/5 with Lad or  Fred is ok for £100]

Always an advantage to wait to see who serves first for these hcap bets (not as big a deal on clay as other surfaces but serving first gives you a decent added edge on the bet.)  What time does the game start?

2.30pm

just seen joe's edit....back in a sec

The +5 at 365 in the 3 way hcap market (effectively +4.5) at 6/5 is a great bet as long as Williams doesn't serve first.  More likely to be 6-4 games rather than 6-3 if Williams doesn't serve first and the extra number from 4.5 to 5.5 isn't as important.

This is women's tennis on clay not John Isner at Wimbledon. Even Serena Williams' serve hasn't been that dominant this tournament.
She was broken 4 times each by Stephens, Azarenka and Friedsam.
Combined with her being under the weather, who serves first should be largely irrelevant - plus the price would have gone by time the match starts.

I appreciate that but it is still an edge i would rather have onside than not however small it is.

Just 12 left in the Derby after Zawraq pulled out this morning.  Good news for people on Jack Hobbs at a big price.  Not sure whether it is good news for those that backed Epicuris at 25/1 ante post the other day, as it was in that grey area where bookies are betting NRNB but it is still ante post.  Will just have to see if there are any shenanigans if it places and then may need to read some rules.

It is shaping up to be a decent each way contest with the 2 bad horses at the bottom.

I'm on Jack Hobbs AP at 50-1 for the Derby. Bee surprised if anyone in the country can beat that.

The +5.5 at 10/11 would still be a bet even if she wasn't unwell.

Suggest £110

[edit 10/11 all gone now, 4/5 with Lad or  Fred is ok for £100]

Looking good Joe.   Good call.

Bold Lass probably worth a tenner ew for the first at Epsom on Friday if you can get the 10-1 with Fred or Tote

Currently /11-2 with Lads and Hills which probably a better reflection of price in a race where this improver looks to have a decent e/w chance

Don't think Fred took it up, but best priced now.
