Peter not sure if you are about

Josip Ilicic could be your man

Negatives not a game with a high goals expectation

Positives scored 7 goals in the last month of the serie a season for Fiorentina and is a player who goes on little runs of form then disappears again

No idea what his spread minutes are but he starts and he is 20s (22 exchange) best price first scorer so presumably low enough...

Sorry, was sleeping after watching the Le Mans race!

Any bet I put on will have to be for the 7:45 PM kick-offs.

Good job really plenty of goals tho surprisingly Smiley

Remind me which spread firm it is again? I will have a look at some very cheap goalscorer minutes if you like

That would be great! Sporting Index.

If there any no recommendations, I'm just going to buy £6.25 on David Silva Goal minutes at 16.

I was kind of interested in the swiss game then realised they do not have player performances which is a bit strange

If i really really had to buy one of the 0 spreads it would be Aleksandr Martynovich for Belarus. Quite a decent domestic scoring record moved to Malaga earlier this year and has scored a few for their ressies. (centre back so yes very unlikely hence the low spread)

That really is scraping the barrel though and of course Belarus goal expectancy in this game must be very low.

Not the best game to play in but you have no time total goals is only around 2.8.

Good luck

Do you think the Martynovich option is better than the Silva bet I suggested above?

I think Horsie is offline.
I guess he does think it's better and Horsie would be one of the best on here for knowledge of European and the international game.
I suppose he thinks its probably less likely to collect but has a higher upside when it does? So I guess it has to do with your risk tolerance.

http://espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/2015/story/_/id/13071387/lebron-james-unfathomable-workload

Great article on the sports science/travel demands of the nba compared to other professional sports.  I have flipped my position on the Cavs fwiw and had the whole potential profit on GS at 2/7 to break even on the coup having backed Cavs at 7/2 (same as fred).  Would suggest fred does the same.

We are guaranteed a profit on the e/w bet (half odds)

cavaliers   9/2   50
Cavaliers   7/2   100   £50 e/w 1/2 1,2

what would you suggest at 2/7?

So we got £100 at 4/1 effectively on them to win (the place bet is settled so is irrelevant).  I would have £400 at 2/7 personally (that is what i have done).  Happy to just cover my bet for fred.  Assume they are both not mine.  I can't remember who placed them.

they are yours (7 aug, 28 oct)

but no matter

this is awkward. £400 two days before royal ascot. let me look around the accounts.

Tighty,

I can do the £400 on Betfair if you like ?

Dutch beat by the jocks in the darts.  Barney looked on a different planet all day.  MVG nearly carried him to the final but barney just never showed up all day long.  Great effort by MVG.  ENG v jocks final.

Sweden killed the bet off before half time. Finished 3-1.

If you want to win your money back, the MereNovice Ascot Stakes is running tomorrow.

You will likely need one of these...

The more adventurous might try one of these:

Or, failing that, stick the Racing Post to one of these:

£10 and £25 entry levels. Pick a horse in each race in the festival. Finish above tikay. Try to beat everyone else. Mere does the rest.

Daily Report

Loss on Month £289.67

Outstanding Bets £1830.12

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1eCEvN9MELsUxB81rHuWrfoX3zwIMPQQ205Lcjm3kbgU/edit#gid=25

A loss of £90 yesterday

-£40 Netherlands lost in the (rather pointless format) world cup of darts, losing on a doubles decider to Scotland in the semis

-£30 Led by Zlatan, Sweden were 3-0 up at half time against Montenegro, winning 3-1 and sinking the u2.5 bet early. Still, seeing Zlatan made some kids' day

-£20 Johnstone not a try-scorer anytime for Wakefield  in their 16-24 loss to Castleford

ongoing

Despite another triple double from Lebron, GSW beat the Cavs 104-91 in game 5 to go 3-2 up with two to play

"James produced the first 40-point, 14-rebounds, 11-assist performance in recorded playoff history (since such stats were kept) in Sunday night's Game 5 at Oracle Arena. He defended everyone from center Draymond Green to point guard Shaun Livingston. He made key play and big shot time and time again.

It wasn't enough."

Magic Johnson summed up the series as follows

" ‏@MagicJohnson LeBron has little help and Steph has a lot of help. That's what this series has come down to".

(as supporting evidence for this The Cavs are shooting 17% without LBJ on the floor. Quite difficult to rest him when they are so bad without him)

Lebron might still be confident, i am not sure but here is a clue

NZ beat England at the ageas bowl to go 2-1 up in their five match series

Clear as top wicket taker after two games, we can't catch a break but Trent Boult can as he is returning home with a stress fracture of the back. another loser incoming...

in the county game..

Warwickshire did well to dismiss Worcestershire for 230 at new road, struggled to 50-4 and recovered to 101-4 in reply

in division 2 lancashire dismissed leicestershire for 207 helped by a james faulkner hat-trick

derbyshire were put in on a damp nasty chelmsford track were soon 50-5 and struggled to 138. then the sun came out. when its not your day...essex 108-0 in reply

Baseball. not too encouragingly, one commentator describes the boston red sox as a "dumpster fire" as their starting pitching lets them down again in a 13-5 loss to the surging blue jays

it got worse, the white sox star pitcher chris sale became only the seventh pitcher ever to throw a 5th straight double-digit strikeout game but his team offered him no run support at all and the team lost 2-1 to the Rays

Nico Hulkenberg becomes the first active F1 driver to win Le Mans for 24 years

Given the freaky nature of the course, I think this year's U.S. open could be won by an outsider.

My pin has landed on Ben Martin. He has 1 win and 3 other top 10s this year. Not the longest off the tee, he is one of the more accurate and has an impressive GIR %. This is a crucial stat IMO for most U.S. opens but more so in this course, where the greens are expected to be the toughest test.

He is at present 250/1 with scuy but a 200/1 shot in general. Looking at his performances this season, he does his best work in the first round, so could be an excellent punt for first round leader, but the prices aren't up yet for that.

Recc £5 EW and see what the first round leader market brings.

I've heard Chambers Bay described as a "bombers paradise" which is unlike any other US Open venue that I'm familiar with, so I agree that it could well be an outsider who wins.

Can't find my Tiger and Jordy recs on the spreadsheet? Need to do some laying off.

I can do it on Daq once I get the bet details, albeit it looks like we're stuck with Eldrick. Guess we'll overlay Speithy a bit to cover that liability.

US Open   Speith   21   94.47
US Open   Tiger   28/1   50

we're unlikely to be able to lay too much

account balances are low and the boss is away/on funny time but suggest away and we will see where we are at
