PLaced a bet today with WH.  Reversed Forecast, one selection was withdrawn.  They have insisted they settle the bet as a win single (half stake) on the horse that ran (it lost obv).  I asked what happened to the other half?  Did it go on a win single on the NR (i.e. refund) or what, but basically a fiver R/F in the event of a NR is settled as a fiver single and a fiver in their pocket.

Is this correct? fair?  Either way, I'm done with them.  The account is in pretty good standing, (well it was until my live chat Cheesy) so if someone wants to hammer the shit out of it.... feel free.

Both stakes should go on a win on the horse still running. Check the Ts&Cs but that's my understanding of the general position.

Ha, score draw Adz.  Thread is on fire.  Watched that on b365's site with no volume and stick horses.  Still, sat outside the Terrace Point Cafe on a vegas morning, so not so bad.

Thanks Engy.

Score draw?

Is it a competition?! 33-1 mate. No competition. Wink

Anyway. The nap of the meeting runs tomorrow.

It ran a real eye catcher two races ago, travelling well and then getting hampered before flying home. He then ran in a race at Newmarket that I thought may have given the game away. Thankfully it looked more workmanlike than spectacular when ridden from the front, but he has shown all the right skills in the last two races to give me a great deal hope hope in what will probably be a bit of a bun fight.

Step up to 1.4miles looks ideal, and if Time Test wins earlier the form will look even better. It may mark a stampede on Dissolution who finished second that day, but I think Space Age is a far better horse.

We shall see, but for Fred lets have

5.35 RA: Space Age £30 ew at the general 12-1 as I write. GL

Paddy goes six places for the 5pm race tomorrow.

Sahaafy and War Envoy are stand out best prices with the green bookie of the top few.

29 runners but we can squiggle a few out and have fun with six spots.

Jamie, just to make sure I understand, £5 R/F, would you settle that as a £5 win single on the sole runner or a £10 win single on the sole runner?

I can understand it being £10, but for £5, they are taking the remaining £5 in a situation where they can't lose?

It has to be both bets on the one horse.

You had two bets:

Bet one: John Snow to beat Naked Dragon Lady

Bet two: Naked Dragon Lady to beat John Snow

Now that John Snow is a non-runner, both bets effectively mean Naked Dragon Lady should win, because she was winning in bet one and in bet two now the only horse you had to beat her is not running.

As I see it, this is why the reverse forecast reverts to a double stake win bet.

These are settled as Tal states.

ty, so the customer rep got the explanation worng, which is what irked me.  They were claiming I got half stake win single and whistle for the other half stake.  I can deal with getting a full stake win single, but not getting the opportunity to strike a bet where a win is impossible.  I seem to do that often enough as it is, without them writing it into their rulebook.

Should we be backing Ryan Moore to get the across the card double in the US Open Golf?  Fella can do no wrong at the minute.  Can match Betfair and get an extra place with the Irish roflers.  I'd be straight on to them if they'd lay me a bet and I was in the right country anyway.  Suggest £1.32 e/w or whatever the max is.

PS I know it isn't the same person Adz and his form has been off a bit.  Still think we should though.

PPS US Open golf is all yours.  Not going to be able to give it enough time.

its dependant on the bookies, hills put it on the remaining selection, laddies just void it and money back, not sure on others. would be easier for punters if there was a standard rule. obvs none can just pocket half the bet haha, the rep on live chat must have been a treat to deal with  Smiley
