Rightio,

The majority of the value today is on one man, Sergio Perez.

To reach Q3 - Sergio Perez @ EVS with Fembrokes. Suggest £25.

Top Six Finish - Sergio Perez @ 13/2 with Hills, Fred and others. Suggest £10.

Quite simply, the bookies are under-rating Sergio as considerably slower than his team mate Nico, but that's not necessarily the case.

Tighty,

You were asking about top Premiership goalscorer market.

Do you think Sterling is value at 80/1 e/w now he's at Man City?

I thought he would be shorter than that.

FWIW, I think Soldado will stay at spurs and I'd be amazed if Kane had quite the same season this time around. All the anecdotal info is Soldado's very popular in the squad and is prolific in training. There's obviously a psychological issue somewhere which, if conquered by a goal or two, could lead to a very different bloke.

The talk was Galatasaray were very interested  in him but I think the Turkish league has had its fill of out of form premier league strikers.  Spurs have been in the market for a striker but we keep getting priced out of our intended purchases. Poch and the ex Southampton scouting network recruit youth with potential over expensive experience. Unless a great buy lands in our lap, I think we will stick with what we have, play 4-2-3-1 and Soldado will be second choice for the one.

If we are looking at someone who can actually win the golden boot,  it's going top have to be in the top six teams, barring anomalies like a team getting 15 penalties one season. At a three figure price (100/1 with BMU), I think Robbie is a shout. Tenner max of course.

Similar argument could be made for Welbeck, for balance. He will have spent the summer sharpening his shins, I'm sure.

I don't tend to watch lower division footy, so avoid 5pur2, so can't comment on Soldudo.

Wellbeck, not a hope.

If AW has finally what some of us realised years ago, that Walcott is a natural scorer, then he won't get enough games, with Giroud and Alexis also in the mix. He would need a run of injuries, which in turn would mean we don't play as well, score as many etc etc

Will add that if soldado goes it will be earlier rather than later. Spurs are believed to have made a £15m "informal bid" for Berahino and Sevilla are interested in soldado. It'll either happen quickly or not at all.

J-Rod doesn't have a starting place nailed down.

Saints played what looked like a 'first team' that didn't include J-Rod last night beating Feyenoord 0-3. There is lots of competition to play in the 3 that sit behind Pele.

I would much rather be on Mane at 100/1. Looked good towards the back end of the season once he found his feet in the league. Pele will keep coming deep to win headers with Mane running in behind. I think he is very capable of getting 15 goals and expect him to play more minutes and get in shooting positions more often than J-Rod.

The King George is tomorrow, do we have anything that piques our interest?

Some interesting racing at York tonight & tomorrow, too, including the Sky Bet Dash, where they go 8/1 the field.

Clever cookie looks a clever late entry purely on the fact it could be a swamp by racetime

Can't believe he is classy enough or quick enough to win or even place in a normal king George but potentially there is a lot of rain today down south

Probably why he is already a touch blue on oddschecker

See he was 50s yesterday and now as short as 16s

Could be argued 25s is very much the shortest one should take

I put him up a couple of days ago.

59 degrees on track in Hungary. When do we consider betting on Vettel and the red lot's tyre management?

Sergio Perez has just had a really spectacular and nasty crash in first practice, with the car ending wrong way up.

He seems to be ok, but sounds quite shaken up.

The car is a total wreck.
