Plymouth lead 1-0 @ H.T...

Ooh, now hold please.

PS - don't think Fred got on, but no matter, that's not the point.

3-0 now, looks like it's all over bar the fat lady singing.

Lord Hesketh is live on the dogs.

Would anyone believe me if I said I went to school with him for a year or so?

Good work Tighty, and all who got on. What a spot that was.

Now that team face the 8 hour return coach journey. Yikes.

Carlisle have drawn QPR in the second round of the league cup, by the way.

Away.

If you think that's bad, how about Hartlepool v Bournemouth, Swansea v York or Sunderland v Exeter?

There is a very good chance that Gleneagles doesn't go on the rain softened ground in the international (3.40 york).  If it does go I suggest that makes several horses good bets.  I particularly like Cougar Mountain at 80/1 at quarter first 3 and The Grey Gatsby at 11/1 if we can get the same an hour or so before the off.  Suggest 10 e/w and 20 e/w if we can get on.

There are several other good each way races tomorrow though expect that 17 runner affair is a bit too vulnerable with the changing conditions.  I am going to be a bit stuffed getting bets on tomorrow so can't help/update (flying back from Spain over lunch then driving) so going to struggle to update personally.  Might be able to put something up for the last and update on the international.

Good luck

Soldado is asked to kick some balls into the crowd at his unveiling at villareal.

Seems he hasn't lost his touch.

Carlisle got a consolation goal to ease that long long journey home.

Final score 4-1, well done all.

good shout on the Carlisle travel angle, very good  thumbs up certainly a angle we can keep an eye on in the lower leagues on midweek trips (I assume for sat 3 o'clock K.O's they go down the night before, so doesn't have the same effect)

In league two tonight, Carlisle are at Plymouth

So what, i hear you cry.....

well in ten league games lifetime at Plymouth, Carlisle have one point

So what, i hear you cry...

well money is tight in league two

not for this team a flight from one end of the country to another

its an eight hour coach trip

currently, this is the scene from the team coach five and a half hours into this trip

no rest up for the afternoon in a hotel, its off the coach at 6pm, shake the legs off, play the game and back tonight overnight

whilst i have no knowledge about either team that you don't have i was surprised you could get nearly even money on the home team

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/league-2/plymouth-v-carlisle/winner

would anyone factor in a journey of this sort into their thinking on a lower league game like this?

Very good sir.
