Siddle gets the last wicket. Well done whoever tipped Starc (Tighty?)

Nellberg on here, well done

forgot this was mine, think it was a group decision. He bowled worse than i'd expected, but a win's a win. Hopefully he is still fresh and confident for the ODI series, he could easily double up there, still better with white ball than red judging by this series.

Love these bets Nelly, we get a 5 or 6 week sweat & a bunch of fun.

Good work.

Reasonable start on the Roma bet.

They came from behind at Verona yesterday for a point, and Juventus lost at home this afternoon. They meet in Rome next weekend, could be a cracker.

What price was Brock Lesnar to beat The Undertaker last year?

(Cannot believe I'm asking this question)

Was a massive price and it never fluctuated as far as I can remember.

Unfortunately Lesnar is 3/1 right now :|

Bovada had Undertaker opening as the heavy favorite at -3000. From there the odds went on to favor the Undertaker even more, and by Saturday afternoon they were set at -5000 for Undertaker. That means you would have to bet $5,000 on him just to make $100, while a $100 bet on Lesnar would make you around $4,000.

Lewis Hamilton managed to get around Spa without being hit by Nico Rosberg, surviving an early scare from Sergio "I used to drive for Mclaren but don't tell anyone because it's embarrassing" Perez to win the grand prix.

Our bets for the weekend and long term were well served by the results,  with the only surprise being Maldonado's failure to complete enough of the race to crash.

In Paris, Danny Cipriani's performance mirrored England's: a late comeback which wasn't enough to justify success. He may count himself unlucky if he doesn't make the final cut for the world cup, but Lancaster may well look for less erratic options, on and off the pitch.

In cricket, England celebrated being spanked by an innings by lifting the symbol of the death of English cricket.

Steve Smith became the first Australian to make 500 runs in UK ashes since Matt Elliot in 1997. Many good players have played in better conditions since and that is some stat, considering he was on the losing side.

Fred collected on Cardiff being the highest scoring ground and on Mitchell Starc the top aussie bowler. BT Sport are trying to get the contract for the next ashes series. Michael Owen commentating on test cricket could be a dealbreaker.

Roger Federer made Andy Murray's US Open hopes a little harder at the weekend, firstly by defeating the Scotsman in Ohio and then Djokovic, meaning he is up to world number 2.

Thoughts for the US Open welcome.

50/1 outsider, Litigant powered to victory in the Ebor, following a 491 day absence.

A similar winning distance for Usain "The Saviour of Athletics and Virgin Media" Bolt, who defeated Justin "M. Bison" Gatlin in the Bird's Nest Stadium in Beijing.

Who doesn't love a happy ending?

On which note, here's a lovable NFL sight: fat bloke scores touchdown. Nose tackle, Mike Purcell of the San Francisco 49ers, intercepts a Dallas Cowboys pass and runs - well kind of - it back to the house for a touchdown in a preseason game.

Cue ironic cheers and commentator giggles.

Have a good day, one and all.

All of the favourites in the betting market for Summerslam either won or tied last night.

Unfortunately this included Undertaker who went off 2/5. The bell rang to announce Lesnar winner at one point!

Pedro 66/1 for Top Goalscorer & 11/1 for Top Assists...

Some value may have gone since yesterday's game but 66/1 seems big to me, for someone who's most likely going to play every game in a top of the Premier League team.
