^^

A bonkers day of sport, but that's why we love it!!  Grin

Just to clarify, a top three in qualifying is not a podium, but I knew what you meant.

He threw a water bottle back to the bench, missed and it went into the crowd. Officials deemed he'd deliberately thrown it into the crowd and sent him off for violent conduct.

Pre-Race Bets:

Total Safety Car Periods - 2 @ 7/4 with BeeWin. Price is a little too high in my opinion, I would have said 11/8 personally. Suggest £10.

Group C (VER/HUL/PER/SAI) - Sergio Perez @ 3/1 with BetEveryDayExcludingLeapYears. I like Sergio here. Force India should out-perform Toro Rosso over a race distance, and Hulkenberg hasn't been happy with his cars balance all weekend. Suggest £10.

Podium Finish - Daniil Kvyat @ 7/4 with several bookies inc. 365/victor/paddys/betfair. We already have him for the win, but at this price, it's worth going for just a "podiumvate" also. Suggest £20.

In addition, the two Williams drivers are massively under-rated here:

https://www.sportingindex.com/spread-betting/motor-racing/formula-1/mm4.uk.meeting.5364120/singapore-grand-prix-specials-and-match-bets

If we can do this, I'd suggest buying Bottas vs Verstappen at 3, and also buying Massa vs Alonso at 5. Buying each bet at £2 would be an absolute maximum loss of just over £100 on each bet (that would be Verstappen/Alonso winning the race with Bottas/Massa retiring first).

Furthermore, that podium numbers bet looks interesting to me. As long as Hamilton or Bottas don't make the podium (doesn't look very likely) then selling at 40 is a great spot. Even if Hamilton did make the podium, that's only a small loss relative to the initial stake. Bottas getting a podium would be a killer though.

Finally, selling Force India multi-finishing positions at 112 looks good to me. 10th & 11th would mean small profit.

Gotta love the spreads  Grin

Just for the record, my two big spreads stand as follows:

- Going For Goals -> can cash out for £350
- Force India Season Points -> can cash out for £1140. Minimum guaranteed profit of £200.

All going well so far Smiley

the only one of these i can do is kvyat podium

bwin, bet365, sportingindex no good without help

can't c and p from 888 but we have £20 at 7/4

If they can, or will, fine, but it really does not matter - it's just about collectively working together to find winners & beat the bookies. As long as others can get on (if they so wish) that's all that matters to me.

Thank you Lisa.

Usual settlement terms, unless you say otherwise.

Good luck us. Should be a fun race.

I guess so, I'm just wary that at the last race I personally made a profit of over £200, but the thread made a loss of around £40 - solely due to being restricted by certain bookies Sad

I can do the spreads stuff.  Need clear instructions and stakes though as bullet points.

I'm afraid that's a daily occurrence for Fred, & a bit unfortunate, don't we just know it, but that's not the point - as long as others get on, the thread has done it's job.

Not a day goes past when we can't get on bets. We are paying the price of doing too well - it's inevitable.

Just because Fred can't get on though, does not mean the tips are wasted.
